This must be a culture divide thing but I think Holo-X sounds a lot better than Holox, also it's great to see 2 of my favorite kusogaki types having a collab.

It's their identity. They are hololive Gen 6. Six in Japanese is ろく (roku) or Japanese often say "loku". So holoku -> holoks (plural) -> holoX (much cooler). And they sang "Roki" in their first 3D mini live. Even tho the song is about rock music but still counts. While Holo-X means ex hololive lol
Yeah in English if you have X by itself it's always "ecks" but in Japanese it's kind of like a filler that can be whatever you want. It can be pronounced cross, ecks, or just be totally silent.

@@GunbladeXBustersword HoloX is the 6th Japanese generation. 6 in Japanese is “roku”. Given the way “Holo” is pronounced “Horo”, if you say “HoloX” with a Japanese accent it sounds like “horokusu” which also sounds like they’re saying Holo6
