How to replace your door pins on a Chevrolet Squarebody! Step by step.

Out with the old and in with the new! We are using Dormans door pin kit from #summitracing to rid papas ole Chevy of the saggy doors. In this tutorial video, I’m going to show y’all how to change out your door pins on your ole Chevrolet! Let’s get rid of those saggy doors and keep ‘em alive. I hope this helps y’all. This is a step by step of removing and reinstalling the pins and doors. Enjoy! I have 3 extra kits if you need a set also.

I have power windows and locks can’t take the door off 😞

Sure you can, just take your door panels off and unplug the window motor and lock actuator, and then undue the clips holding wiring in place, and fish them thru the rubber bellow between the door and the cab. It's a little bit of work, but it's not too bad. A coat hanger will help run wires thru the bellows.

@@TheGrimLight1911 That’s what I was trying to avoid. I installed relays for the power windows and side mirrors with the led blinkers so yes it will be a bit of work.

@@queman6583 ahh. I understand. That's not going to be fun. I need to do mine as well. 87 suburban Silverado package, so it's got all the wires 😅 Was the relay upgrade worth it?
