You can tell Daigo wanted to get that Anti air DP out and it dropped. Think he was a bit slow to react
Yeah he hd the game won, either the DP did not come out because of online lag ( think if it was offline he would have got it) or it got stuffed for some reason. Goes game was over tbh

People seem to forget that Daigo doesn't start out well when a new game comes out, it usually takes him a little while to master the game. By mid 2024 Daigo would be something else

What makes angryBird hard to deal with is that he presses a lot of buttons. Always interrupting strings

Those are some of the most annoying players to play against, you gotta play extra safe or extra tight on your blockstrings, lol 😅

Man used a wake up ex DP in the corner, he follows that up with two whiffed low medium drive rush attempts and burned himself out, THEN jumped in at the worst possible range you should jump from and landed a punch into CA for the win against an all time great fighting game player. I know he is currently the best player in the world right now and that doesn’t speak to him as a player but Ken as a character can get away with ANYTHING! There is so much you have to think about with him… dragon lash, Jinrai, fireballs, he can run at you without drive rush, he has a great drive rush when he does use it. He’s too loaded on the game. Ken, Luke and JP are nightmares.

How did Angrybird even get off that jump in? Daigo inputs a jab in the easiest and most crucial DP situation ive ever seen him in? What? How? In every game in the series Daigo has notoriously eaten shit like that for breakfast. That was bizarre to see. I guess the inputs arent just hard for me to handle, even pros have issues with them.
Same way Mena kept grabbing mofos in SF5 with Birdie's slow af Bull Revenger aka Dolphin Dive four years after the game had come out.
He did it when Daigo was expecting something else from Ken's Akuma sized toolkit.
The only explanation is that he pressed another button as the jump took off.

that last jumping hit got by AngeryBird on Daigo was bcz of daigo missed Dp. this the most annoying or crucial thing about hitbox controller. that dp does'nt come out bcz in these kind of pressure moments players see the oppertunity and go for it very quickly that istead they missinput the commands. what happen here is Daigo command the DP but bcz of pressure of the moment he did it so quick that he cold'nt leave back in time so his first command got miss input f+b becomes neutral d .f +1 which becomes f+1 ( you can see that in video ) and thats why he lost
53 seconds in and you can see angry bird respects and is afraid of diago

Great fight was a true chess match I think diago came in with the better game plan but once ab learned how diago was stealing his turns back in neutral it became even then just best reactions. They both left better Kens then before they started.🎉

Great match. Why does stage/environment look like it was rendered on gen 2 hardware. Textures are super blocky with rough jpeg type imaging
daigo had so many rounds stolen with bird on burnout and bird mashing ultras. the ex dps too, this sf seems so tipped towards guessing
