Fix Battery Drain on Samsung Smartphones! (S10 / S20 / Note 20) |Google Play Services

- Welcome to this new video, today I am showing you guys how you can finally fix Google Play Services from draining the battery of your Samsung smartphone!

In the past couple of months I have had major issues with Google Play Services accounting for 20-30% of battery usage on my only one year old Samsung Galaxy S10. After trying a ton of suggested solutions that I found online, the only solution that really worked for me was surprisingly simple!
Wipe System Cache Galaxy S10:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby key, then press and hold the Power key.
3. When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
4. An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
6. Press Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
8. When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Power key to restart the device.

Lol I still have my galaxy S10 and this fix still works. Thanks a bunch man. My battery was going from 15% to 0 in seconds. 100% would drain in a half hour. After following these instructions it's like a new battery. Thanks again

Bro turn off auto sync data, found in account setting it gives battery boost but at a cost of getting gmail updates

I still regularly do these steps whenever my phone overheats and it usually fixes the issue.
I also put my phone in the fridge for 2 minutes before doing these steps.

To wipe my S10e also had to connect my device to a power source via USB Tupe-C cable.
Only then I could enter the wipe cache mode!
yep, if youre phone dies while it wiping the phone. it'll become bricked. it makes sense why they do that.

Samsung Cores Services app will heat up and drain battery on phone. Has been an issue for a while, only way for temp fix is to clear cache partition.
Android 11 is really bad regarding battery drain issue. I was getting 12 hours SoT when I was using Android 9. But now it's 5 hours thanks to Android 10 and 11 (!)

@@djss822 Actually I found the problem, it was not caused by Xiaomi developers but Android developers.

I have no idea what's going on with my S10 Plus. I'll have it on the charger and it'll start draining even when the symbol shows it's charging.

It does't show anything like that to me, While heavy gaming my phone can run perfectly for 3-4 hrs, but its battery decreases by 10-30% overnight when im not even using it. please have a look at my comment

@@TechnikLoftde Google Play Services, on average 5 to 7% daily. I've cleared cache, wiped the partition, logged out and back into my Google accounts. I can't figure out what's still causing GPS to use so much battery.
@@TheAllianceEnt turn off Bluetooth location . And turn off restricted and mobile screen off you'll still get notifications they just won't run on the phone while using it until you open it up and if get out goes back to it's same place

Sir.. i know these all setting, still Exynos is too much draining battery... Because Samsung doesn't optimization exynos processor, because Samsung want only sell there product... Exynos processor is very bad, that's why i left Samsung, i am using Huawei P30 Pro, Kirin980, Fast Processor and battery saving

I could follow the initial instructions however, those that did not help you... you covered themn too quickly so could not find the button to turn off.

Thanks for the feedback! Will definitely do that. For this video you can also set the playback speed to 0.5 for example as a workaround.

I ran into some issues on my Note20 ultra after buying 2days ago i was just using the phone to watch a movie 30 min in the movie the phone overheated then the phone went to reset mode by itself.
the phone screen setwent to flash mode.
I took it back to the store and they said that it voided warranty.
i took two a smaller shop to get fix but the man at the shop said the phone is not a software issue.
it's because the motherboard burnt out on the phone and that's the reason that code comes out on phone.
the phone is not a good quality don't purchase it. I'm stuck with a phone that does not work the store does not want to return my money back.

exynos in s10e...there is no trick on this planet that will help battery...4hrs of sot is maximum..ideal conditions...games..fb..yt...2....2.5hrs max...snapdragom last longer..but exynos is just to much for this battery...
