I dont understand the meaning of BUY and SELL with respect to Support and resistance.... When a seller sells, offcourse there is a buyer to whom he sells..... And when a Buyer buys , there is a seller from whom he buys ... So what I wanted to say is there is always equal number of buys and sells which is happening. Whenever there is a sell happenning , there is a corresponding BUY which is happenning as well... So the number of BUYs and SELLs is always equal .... Please clarify
Stock can test resistance zone multiple times because every time it moved/rose close to that zone it witnessed lot of selling and it is the supply zone. Because of some or the other trigger/event/news/corporate action the stock once again starts testing the resistance zone and this time with the presence of tremendous volumes/ wide participation all the selling gets absorbs and the stock "breaks out" of this zone and starts to move higher. Upon retracement or downtrend - the earlier resistance/supply now becomes demand/support zone as this was the zone that witnessed lot of buying and it is the hope that buying will again emerge and stock will reverse the trend.
