I have the 737 200 with the livery of olympic airways and its a big bird but the main problem was the front part it required a lot of putty and sanding and of course polishing before the Paint but at the end the result pays you back!
Brett, I've been looking for a B737-800 like this for quite some time. Previously flew one, but all I can find are very small versions. Where can I purchase this model? Thanks - XJP
I'd like to build the P-8 Poseidon version, but it's pretty pricey and display space is also an issue for me. Agreed regarding the quality of Reskit parts. I have several of their weapons and ECM pods. All are very high quality.
Man these things are huuuuge, I was thinking of doing a similar one for my 1/144 airfield diorama but I think imma stop lol, the acrylic display case I got probably wont even fit the 144 version
Do love your channel , however, this box review says " no go " on this kit. Its scales down poorly , and I suspect on the price, not worth the frustration building. If spend my money on a different kit for whatever this one cost.
@@HammerheadModelMaking actually box reviews are good, because you get to see what's in the kit and whether or not it's the kind of model you want to invest in. And kits today are truly an investment. I'm an avid fan of your channel , so I always watch and this box review was very beneficial especially the clear parts canopy, and windows, the panel lines could probably be fixed. So not really critizing
@@c123bthunderpig no worries, I wasn't taking it as criticism, like you said, the review was doing what it was intended to do, inform viewers whats in the box and let them decide if its worth it for them!! So, I'm glad I could be helpful!
Looking forward to seeing a detailed video of the build.
I'm excited to get this one started.
Just a comment for the algorithm.
If someone would build a 1/72 A350-1000 or a 777-300er, I'd be ALL OVER THAT!
There may be some vacuform or fiberglass kit out there!

Thanks for sharing! Good to know!
This is a very challenging kit. Been working on it since November. Clean up is an absolute nightmare.
Yeah, I was following along with yours on Instagram, really liked what you did the with landing gear bay.
I've never seen a 1/72 Airliner, should be interesting if nothing else. Happy scribing Brett.
yeah, not very common, especially in injected molded. Looking forward to it!
Sweet! I'd love to build this is an old SWA paint scheme and add running lights to it as well.
Adding lights would be very cool!!

I'd love to try and get to it this year!
Cool model and review.
Glad you think so!
You can use white glue applied with toothpick for window openings!🤔

Good tip, thanks for sharing!

indeed, not small for 1/72!

Yeah, the P-8 would be very cool, depending on how this one goes, I'd be tempted to do that one too!

yeah, they are quite big in 1/72 scale!
@@HammerheadModelMaking the engine is as big as your hand! I spat out my drink when the box was opened lmao

You're not using the Qantas decals? Sacrilege!
I know, and the Quantas livery looks great, but I got a history with Delta and will be doing that instead.
💀👍🏻

Yeah fair enough, I get this kit wont be for everyone, and it will require some leg work to make look good, but thanks for watching!!
