Aah I was looking everywhere for flakes for hot chocolate at Christmas time, couldn't find them anywhere down here! Omg, free cake, yes please! I've started using the ready diced onions and they are a lifesaver honestly. In terms of oils, from what I've seen, any seed oil is pretty bad for your health because of how they are processed. I tend to use olive oil or coconut oil mostly for cooking. Great shop Jane 😁
I use crisp and dry for cooking but i dont really fry much lol. Only use a little bit when i do. Dont like olives so olive oil not for me lol! Good bargains at the company shop. Cupcakes sound lush i love lemon curd. Did your granddaughter like the jelly,? I tend to buy peaches in juice as the syrup is too sweet. They are a good thing to have in the cupboard. Hope you had a good weekend. Mine was soent taking down the decs and starting to reset the front room x
Thanks Jane, extra virgin olive oil is good for you but burns easily so usually just used for salads and not cooking. Normal olive oil is still good for you but doesn’t burn easily so can be used for cooking, hope that helps.
Extra virgin olive oil is healthiest. Its not refined. Its expensive but you only need a couple of drops. Coconut oil or vegetable oil come a close second xx ohh maybe point out to folks re company shop that you must work in nhs, police, fire service etc x
I don’t use extra virgin olive oil for cooking , the plain olive oil is better and not so expensive, a good Rapeseed is as good . I use the extra virgin for dressings or dipping , you might as well use a plain olive oil it’s cheaper and good for you . The virgin looses a lot of its taste when heated to a higher temperature anyway xxx
Morrisons is becoming a rip off - and the service is terrible! I go to check out the reduced fridge - otherwise it's Aldi! Lard or butter beats oils everyday!

Totally, they have gone a lot more expensive. I prefer Aldi at the moment 😊
