Thanks for the playthrough! Nice production. Just for the sake of friendly feedback, some minor rules corrections: 11:59 When producing with Prefect (without PM), minimum points are 1 for Contrarius, not 2 (that´s only with the Prefect PM card). 12:26 Same as above, only 1 point. This time Contrarius actually also have exactly one house in this province (outcome the same anyway). Edit: I realized later that this was already commented on in part 2 for the same reason, but still holds true for this one :)
@@TotallyTabled Yea for sure. Also already subbed the channel. Like your overall production! Might I ask what camera equipment you´re using (and if multiple cams are set or are you panning around with a mount for all close ups?).
@@niklasa8429 Thanks for the sub! Getting started on YT is tough and your support really helps. I have a pretty simple setup for filming, which is why my videos are fairly simple at the moment. I use a Canon R6 attached to a C-Stand over an IKEA table in my super cramped office. I film in 4K but put it onto a 1080 timeline in DaVinci Resolve, which lets me punch in closer to the board without losing quality. I usually set up a few different framings and edit between them to try to keep the pacing and visual interest higher. I believe this technique is pretty common for this kind of video. Using multiple cameras would be super rough. Hope that answers your question and thanks again for the support!
Keep in mind that Contrarius doesn't need to have ANY houses in the province. If that's the case, he will still get a minimum of 1 or 2 VPs depending on which Prefect card is played.
The way you handled the wrong color player pieces in postproduction had me laughing out loud 😂 I hadn’t really heard of Concordia before. Thanks for this very clear introduction 👏
Ha, thanks. I always wondered why playthroughs contained so many dumb mistakes. Now I know why! Cameras, microphones, lights, rules, narration, strategy. Far too much for my one old brain to keep track of. Something always slips through the cracks. Hopefully in the future the mistakes will become slightly less idiotic than grabbing the wrong colored meeple. 🤣 Thanks so much for the support. By the way, your photography on IG is amazing. I plan to check out the reviews on your website and I would encourage others to do the same.
@@TotallyTabled Ah thanks, that is super kind of you! I don’t record my solo plays, and even without all the extra things like cameras and microphones, for some reason I constantly move the wrong meeple when playing Viscounts of the West Kingdom 🙈🤷♂️
Thank you for the Introduction! Do you know, what is the red banner above the victory condition on the market cards for? it shows a card on the left an kind of ressources on the right
Thanks Peter. Those poker chips are Iron Clays from Roxley Games. I believe you can buy them on their website. I got mine during a kickstarter several years ago. They are fantastic and highly recommended. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Tommy! If I remember correctly, it is the specialist in their personal face up display of cards that uses the highest value good (brick the lowest and cloth the highest). I hope that answers your question. Thanks so much for watching my channel!
Hello! When playing with Contraius as the third player and the player who does not have the Bot decides to use the Diplomat's card, does he have to copy Contrarius' ability or can he also copy the ability of the other human player?
Sounds like the pvp rules are easy to learn BUT this solitaire mode has a “flow chart” for running the ai turn? Does that get complicated? I love soloable games but when the solo rules introduce another layer of rules, I hate it
Not much of a flowchart on this one. The card you play tells you exactly what the AI does and it is usually very simple. A couple actions require you determine the best spot. Overall, one of the easiest AI systems I've encountered. Thanks for watching Super Commando!
Great play through. However, your player color choice didn’t allow me to tell the difference (I’m colorblind), so I wasn’t able to track the game & had to seek out a video that I frankly didn’t enjoy as much as yours.
You perfectly translate the rules. I already bought Solitaire and I'm learning the game, so thank You very much. I was waiting for such a movie ;-)
Hey, thanks. I'm so glad it was helpful. Hope you enjoy it. I'm pretty impressed with the expansion so far, with limited plays.
Thanks for the playthrough! Nice production.

At 15:08 should Contrarius not have 3 movement because it has 3 colonists?
Thanks for a great video. I’ve just bought the base game and Solitaria so this was a perfect introduction to it.
Awesome! So glad this helped. Let me know what you think of it once you get it to the table. I really appreciate the comment. Thanks so much!

Great playthrough. How do you know what the AI's best specialist is? In your playthrough, it was the Smithy.

Not sure. I've never played with the bot in a two player game. Thanks for watching.

Yeah, sorry about that. I learned my lesson after this playthrough and I have strived to do better in future videos.
