The Broonfords have a day of fun starting off at Mimis Bake House for sandwiches, scones, sausage rolls and cakes. Then visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. Which used to be HRH Queen Elizabeth private yacht. One of the top things to do in scotland.

Re: Difference between boats and yachts. What you were describing is a motor launch. A launch is an open topped boat which can be carried on a vessel to ferry the crew between ship and shore. In times of sailing vessels theses launches would have been powered by oars (ie. 'umans). A motor launch is one o' them but with an engine on the back. Does the same job but with a bit of a technical upgrade.
