1:06:47 when the code become more complex to understand, like in this case, there is a good approach to make it easier to understand as Kevin Powel said in the CSS Days, you can use the CSS variables, for example --columns-num: 3, --gap: 20, and use it, and if someone need to change it, it's very easy to change the value of the variables which already has a understanding names.
I would definitely change the spacing to be consistent throughout the design, especially on the mobile version. I don't want to have to scroll too much and some of the spacing seems too much-arbitrary in fact. Nice job. I too was thinking from the beginning just to do the entire thing in grid, including the nav, which you did end up changing. I really was thinking that I have grid down for this kind of design, but with all that math-I want to think there is an easier way. But once you have the system in place, you don't have to reinvent the wheel all over again. Let's see if we can simplify those grid templates. Not sure it can be done, but we must always try.
@@vinay_dias Thanks for the kind words! He does-- just starting out, but he is planning more videos on this channel soon! www.youtube.com/@DigitalSageVideo
This is a good project. If you recorded this in one go, then you have strong mind. Although there may be other ways to approach building this project, you've made troubleshooting to solve problems easy to follow. It would have been even better if you had included the links to the websites that you used in the tutorial. Do you also build sites with Reactjs though? Thank you for this good job.
thanks for watching! I'll try to be better about including the links-- which one were you looking for? and I don't use React, sorry! Maybe in the future!
you are a blessing........thank you, I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love your content but as a very beginner its hard for me to catch up especially for css, do you have a content with pure about css. and how did your learn those calculation on gaps?... from philippines.
thanks for watching! I don't have a ton of pure CSS tutorials, if that's what you mean? I recommend Kevin Powell or Dave Gray for CSS basics. But I will try to make some more beginner friendly content in the future. For the gaps I just figured it out myself based on what I needed to do, but calc() in general can be a very helpful function to learn in CSS.

Do you like to use Tailwind CSS or CSS in JS?
I really love you and your code
Great teaching. I’d sugguest, standard naming convention to variables at early stage of learning. Like Primitives, Primary etc…
