Nicest Versys 300 I've seen on youtube yet! I need a lighter adventure bike and now this one has really caught my attention! Has the aftermarket exhaust helped with the low end grunt at all? I know the little 300 makes all it's power in the top end and it would be nice to know how to spread some of that power out..
how much of a different's did the 140/80/17 make compared to the stock 130/80/17 rear tire did you have any problem with the tire rubbing. i am thinking about getting a Shinko 805 in the 140/80/17tt

Finally an off road worthy Versys-X. I was thinking about the KLX-S 250, but now im changing my mind.
I have the KLX and it's a great bike, a lot lighter than this thing.
I'm really start to dig this bike for on and off road specially with those tires and exhaust
Is it a full exhaust system or just a slip-on ?

Its an awesome bike for the money. I loved it and would have stayed with it if I didn't love off-road riding so much.
mel22b For a touring bike it would be great. Enough power for the highway & capable to go on dirt for short stretches.
