Faisal Salam Yeah, the Lakers also had that historic, record-setting 1971-72 Season, where everyone doubted them because they thought that they were getting too old for them to compete and everyone was focusing on the young and upcoming Bucks with Kareem and an old Big O on their team. I was nine years old when this game was played. And at that time although I was a knick fan Frazier wasn't my favorite player. I would learn to appreciate his ability (especially on defense) and style of play later on in my basketball development. But coming from New York I was more attracted to Earl the Pearl and later on Pistol Pete's flashy school yard style. Because that's the way we played (or tried to play, ha, hahaha) in my neighborhood. This was a great game and nostalgia at it's optimum best.
