If you're in a dangerous position when you receive the ball with a bounce(for example last defender), you should put your legs behind your stick. So if you miss the ball with your stick, it doesn't continue rolling so the opposite team can take the ball.

How do you get your hits in the air is, it undercutting? And also I have a problem, when I slap shot the ball it goes in the air, my friends think i'm undercutting it when i'm not, is this back stick? And will I get penalised for it?
