Magadheera was the first 'big film' of Rajamouli which catapulted him into the big league and made Charan a star.... All Rajamouli films were blockbusters, but this was the first film to cross 100 crores.... Rajamouli is known for always giving best roles for his actors and double to triple profits for producers....
Guys don't compare this movie with Baahubali.... For a perspective, Baahubali each part was made in around 200 crores, but Magadheera whole movie was done in 35 crores.... That was the time Telugu films had lesser market and as you know audience and reach are much less than Bollywood.... But no other director could have pulled this off in 35 crores.... If you get time please do watch, you can get it with subs in TH-cam!

SO basically what all these reaction guys should keep in mind or at least do a little research, Budget of South Indian movies are far less than what a Bollywood or Hollywood movies would get.
Especially in 2009 when this movie was made.
They did a GREAT JOB with whatever little resources they could get.
Obviously whatever little VFX or CGI used will not be as good as what you are seeing these days because VFX was not BIG in 2009 in India. Smart phone revolution happened in 2013 for God sake. What are talking bro, lol.

Guys horse racing is not CGI, ram charan is a excellent horse rider, and he owns a polo team, and he kept this horse with him after this movie. Place was in Gujarat near pakistan border.

It was a wild horse he was riding... He's a trained horse rider ... While shooting he always surpasses the camera vehicle... So he tried to control the horse in that scene..!! CGI was too good at that times in the limited budget..!!
