I was at this show. They were in the parking lot passing out cassettes of their EP Fritz’s Corner when the show ended. I was 13 and it blew my mind to talk with them. I wish I still had that cassette but it disappeared with time.
Local H opening for STP was my first real rock show. 1996 I was 16 years old. These guys blew my freaking mind. So much sound coming out of 2 guys. Loved it.
*NOW THIS* is how it is done!!!!! Excellent set, frikkin' banging good music!! Bring back the 90's please!!!!!!!!!!!! Musically anyway! Thanks for sharing!! I just screamed this whole set in my living room, lol!
The middle drummer and the current drummer are very competent musicians. Joe Daniels was the best of the 3. He has a swing and feel behind the kit that cant be duplicated.
I love this so much!! These guys were/are simply awesome. And that's the most Gen-X sales pitch ever 'Thank you. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, buy our sh*t - bye.' 😂

Any band would be lucky to have that drummer
Totally! When you got a drummer that good and singer/guitarist/songwriter like Scott, a bassist and 2nd guitar would just get in the way.
Joe is KILLING the drums on this! Damn!
An unsung hero (in the best of 90s drummer list)
Beast
One of the most underrated bands of all time!

I saw them open for Sillverchair a few months after this, pretty much my first real rock show and my reaction was exactly the same. I was 16 as well
He will blow your mind even more now.
Look him up.
He plays gigs in town that he likes.
I see him at a suburban bar at least once a year
Joe goes from 🥱 to monster mode.
Putting on a 90s drumming clinic.
When grunge was king! The good old days.
My favorite local h preformance

The 90s is sorely missed.

Yeah, I just have a thing for drummers, doesn't get much better than this. Must've felt so cool rocking this hard in their own backyard.
Love Joe's snare sound. Pretty sure I was at this show.
I was 19 lol.. best time of my life the 90s were....
THANK YOU!
THANK YOU for posting this!
Maybe there IS still a use for the internet.
I was 14 in 1996 and STP with Local-H opening up was the first concert I've ever been to at I believe it was the Spectrum in Philly.
Joe is a BEAST!! Brings back the heyday! Love it!!
What I would do to go back to those days....who knew the nightmare life would be as we grew up?
wow this sounds SOOOO good
Great stuff...I miss those days

Happy 26th birthday to my substitute teacher !
? You talking as good as dead?
I was at that show. I remember my POS car almost did not make it back home.
But it made it there that's all that matters yo
Still putting out amazing work to this day, can't say enuf good things about this band... btw is that Gabe playing tambourine and some vocals lol
Thank you for posting this! This made my evening. 🤘🏼🔥
Also my favorite part is after freeze dried flies when Scott goes back for a sip of water and Gabe claps to him and gives him a thumbs up 👍 😂
40:40 would of been me 😂 I would of tried to jump offstage to
crowds will never be the same
Right? Not a single gadget in the air, among other things.
Thanks Mark!
16:43. Check out that drumstick save!
Wow that was awesome. Thanks for posting! Did you film this?
I did not. The video was provided by Scott and the audio was provided by Joe and I synced them :)
@@flattered Thanks for bringing that all together. It is great seeing them play to a larger audience so early in their career.
