Dad was stationed there (he was RCAF, assigned to NATO's 4ATAF H from 69-73). I used to spend some time at the west end of the single (then) runway and watch the RF-4C's, F-102's and later F-4E's come and go. More exciting but as Dad used to say; "Excitement isn't always a good thing". One summer I washed pots in the Dining Hall of the Kindsbach Cave (Air Defence Operations Centre). I used to bicycle halfway around the base, under the Autobahn and up to the secure parking lot. Got to see a lot of aircraft on those trips.

30+ years ago, staying in the TLF @ Lackland AFB, our 2 y/o son loved watching & listening to the C-5s coming in to Kelly, which abuts Lackland. They were even better for him at night with the lights!

As a retired combat photographer, I have logged untold thousands of feet of MoPic, & video of flying aircraft. From the "Blues" to Carrier launches & recoveries. Saying that, my compliments to the camera operator who documented these aircraft videos.
Some of this video looks like the scenes are shot on a tripod. Others appear to be hand held. If these shots are so difficult to differentiate between the two, then I render a salute to the videographer for such steady camera work. How refreshing for a change. It takes lots of practice to perfect the talent to track, pan, zoom in & out so smoothly that it compliments the scene. All too often we're forced to watch Shakey camera work with jerking pans & tilts, rendering the finished video useless to view.
This video, with its numerous aircraft landings & take-offs is a great example showing the correct way to shoot video of moving objects.
Be it planes, trucks, cars, trains, boats etc. hand held must be rock solid to avoid distracting from the subject matter. Otherwise, lock-it-down on a tri-pod!
    Great stuff!
Grey Jon Camera operator.. Best of everything in your future career, You obviously have what it takes.

No, really, how does something that big stay in the air? I don’t think you could get enough forklifts and cranes around that thing to lift it in the air mechanically, so how could it possibly stay up with air???

It's all fake, like NASA claiming the Earth is an oblate sphereoid when it is obviously a buttermilk pancake.

Lift from fuselage design. Wings stabilize and provide direction. Pretty amazing though.

It's all done with smoke & mirrors & a lot of government secrets, which can be found in the president's Corvette.
