My favorite thing about listening to this song is the guitar riff that faintly plays for every 4-hit. Sometimes it's tough for me to discern where the 2's and 3's are purely by listening to the OST without cues, but the 4's are easily recognizable.
It starts off at peace, with that subtle hint of melancholy midway through. The "hint" only grows as the song transitions to part 2, into a full-fledged despair crisis. Still, in a beautiful way. There's something in this track I can't put my finger on, yet it's... Hauntingly beautiful.
To me, its the feeling of not wanting to wake up to reality. The urge to just stay asleep in your dreams, where nothing bad happened, will happen, or can happen. Despite everything, you still have to wake up regardless if you want to or not, the final minute of the song and even the visuals show this. "Wake up."
The first time I played this level I was so focused on the game that I didn't even notice the "WAKE UP" in the background, even when it got hard focused on.
Here I was thinking it would be a silly baseball game. Some wonderful jazz and amazing editing I'm half way to crying. Music gave me Celeste vibes in all the right ways.
I think I'm getting, from never playing Celeste but hearing Quiet and Falling, theme of Mirror Temple, that Celeste's music is all about being gentle and sorta depressed at the beginning to being drowned out and hopeless by the end of the track.
Little detail I noticed is that the reason the song is most likely called lucky break is because lucky broke his rotary cuff, lucky literally broke, but it is most likely a coincidence it’s still a fun detail.
if you suck at rythm if you play the game the speed actually goes quite fast in second section and it's easy to mess up on and that's the part i like more also if you hate jazz gotta listen to camellia's jazz XD

I like how you can faintly hear the hitsounds through the snare drum

SO I WASNT THE ONLY PERSON THAT THOUGHT THIS WAS CELESTE MUSIC

the best introduction to an act
Act 5 is so good and this song was so amazing, as soon as I heard this when playing 5 - 1 I knew I was gonna have a good time

It wasn’t a coincidence
it DEFINITELY isnt a coincidence since it's both him Lucky the person breaking, and Lucky taking a break (albeit forced)
Absolutely not a coincidence, rhythm doctor is built upon wordplay.
They had no right to put this banger as the first goddamn song
easily my favorite song from act 5, its so peaceful yet chaotic. and the saxophone just makes it 10x better lmao
tsym for uploading these act 5 ost goes so hard
is it bad that this song reminds me of as the world caves in
omg same
YES I love the saxophone in this track so much! Will you be uploading the tracks from the night levels too?
yep, next one is 5-1N
I honestly hate jazz… it’s just way too slow…
speed isnt everything.
