- Season Of The Wish Ending and Cutscene! The main finale of this season takes place today. I have a feeling their will be a bridge and possibly another mission in the content release in may to tie things over, but the wish is granted today! Crow enters the traveler, Fikrul is mentioned and Riven grants her last Wish. Let’s get to everything that happened this week.

He’s on void with 2 mobility, it’s gonna take bro exactly 4 months before he makes it.
15:37 The reason we can't travel through the portal using the Veil alone is because the "path" constantly shifts along the way. Similar to quantum physics, the simple act of observing the path changes it. So it's impossible for a normal person to simply walk through and reach the other side without getting hopelessly lost. The wish Riven granted in some way entangled the ley lines with the Veil's connection, allowing 1 person (we chose Crow) to reach the destination by travelling along the *ley lines* (something we've become quite familiar with) rather than the Veil's quantum-like connection. Now that we have Crow on the other side, we can use his connection with Mara as a beacon to guide us. Osiris is currently setting up the Veil so that we can all pass through, and we don't need to rely on the constantly-shifting pathway, instead simply following the beacon straight to Crow.
for the 40K fans, Crow is acting as our Astronomicon to get inside.
@xXx_Regulus_xXx that's exactly what my mind jumped to as well! Putting it into the 40k context is just what I needed to actually wrap my head around what the problems actually were. This makes so much more sense now

Hence why I said last week he was mentioning Quantum Entanglement when he and Crow walked away
For those that are confused about what "Quantum Entanglement" is. I refer to you in the scene from when Tony Stark to had to make a time GPS to prevent Scott Lang from being "turned into a baby, among other things".
Esentially Crow is our anchor, and our guide through an impossible maze, he is literally experiencing all of time end and beginning all at once.

Hopefully the spring updates will give us enough to hold on which I highly doubt. Self Rez I’m looking forward too but other than that it’s going to be hell for Destiny this year

I feel like there is a twist with Mara that we haven't seen yet. Back in WQ, the cutscene after the parasite mission, in the enclave, she mentioned the Witness and got freaked out. This always stuck with me. She just seemed to have this different look in her eyes. She has that same look when Petra says "is he...?". Mara says "he is on his way" but if you listen closely there is more than one voice, and you also hear the Witness' ominous sound cue...
I picked up on that too. THE WITNESS is on his way to try and find Crow before we do!
I agree, though. There's definitely another shoe that hasn't dropped. Literally every piece of this puzzle is shady af. Queen Mara has her secretive ways. Riven is an Ahamkara. It's Savathun's wish. This whole narrative has been emphasizing trust, and the risks inherent in doing so. We have been gathering Ahamkara eggs (side note, do we know if Savathun's heirloom is Riven's egg?). There is so much that can go wrong with this, not to mention the other players who may have a stake in what happens next, like Fikrul, the Sol Divisive, and perhaps the Nine. I'm excited and a bit anxious to find out how this all plays out.
I didn't spot good eyes and ears
This means the Witness is going to have not one, but two(2) feral knife gremlins running around busting the place up for four months. When we get there, it'll be to find that Cayde and Crow got tired of waiting and already solved the problem with arson. One is a gunslinger with centuries of experience, and the other has been taught how best to apply a flaming war axe to his enemies.
We're going to walk in on them playing uno amidst the collapsing inferno of the Pale Heart, and Glint will be the only sane being present.
Now it will be interesting for Crow to cross paths with Cayde once more, and apologize from the past incident. And then Cayde forgiving Crow.
Mara: You won't be be but a step behind him. Will you
Me: actually I hate to break it to you but we're about to be about 4 to 5 months behind that cat so I hope you brought his snacks🤣

Theres always a trick with Mara. Thats why even Riven said "hey youre good at making your desires reality. You could teach my children something"

I just came back to D2 a few months ago, I really hope they don't just abandon it after the final shape and episodes. I've been enjoying d2 more than ever and for the first time I've actually been interested in harder content instead of getting bored.
If i remember right in D1 someone said, it might have been the speaker, it's always been our destiny to travel the stars. Im hoping we'll actually get to do that finally after the light vs darkness saga is over.
There's still massive potential with this game, especially now that the classes and builds feel so good (at least to me, maybe they used to be better.) It'd be a shame to abandon all the work they've put in when they release marathon.
@@beeman4266Unlikely. Though there's potential in something akin to a new seasonal model to keep the lights on. Since the back half of the game was gutted, along with the seasonal model taking away from evergreen content, there won't be many new players coming into the game. A lot of veterans are already set on putting down the game for good after the Final Shape unless something more interesting comes along.

I have a weird theory that would be kind of interesting to me at least, what if the crow is able to tell cayde because his essence is now inside cayde and that is the reason cayde is glowing and also possibly why we don't see crow in any final shape footage or pictures.
I really hope that is the case it would make sense because of it being a wish with an ahamkara so there needs to be a trade off

15:15 to be fair plot twist wast meant to be "Crow goes through portal not you,you naughty guardian you're gonna make into weapons everything you see inside!" but we all know how it worked out.. or didn't but for me way in which it was spoiled was so funny it was 100% better than any reveal they meant for it :D

I don't know if any of you saw the upcoming DLCs, but after seeing this, I can definitely say Fikrul WILL play a huge part. On one of the upcoming DLCs pictures, it shows a headpiece resembling Fikrul's very own. He will be back. I just knew it!
I imagine he will become something like a disciple, or at least, definitely a major player for the Scorn. The dungeon hints that they are now wielding paracausal energies via the Ahamkara bones and Taken corruption. So glad the Scorn are finally getting the identity they've been lacking. Now, if only the Vex could follow suit ...
It just occurred to me, what do you think the Scorn were trying to wish for? And, what if they succeeded? What if Fikrul wishes to be reunited with his "father"?

I do not know the lore but after last weeks "reveal" that the Nine wished for corpeal form...what if the Nine were the Ahamkara (sp?) and Xur is actually Rivens mate...? Just a what if but interesting.

@@vlvtmnky1142 How can someone with barely any play time be burned out. Literally everything that happened could have been a season, or even one mission. You can go from Lightfall end to the Final Shape as though the story between never happened.

Idk I feel kind of let down about the season I guess. On one hand yeah we got a way into the traveler and we got some nice lore about the wish dragons but it was idk anti climactic. Where’s the urgency where’s the do or die feeling? This is supposed to be the end of everything and I just feel like it’s another average Tuesday you know? I feel no suspense, no drive other then being told “oh no it’s the end of the world.” I guess I’m just missing that impending doom we gotta get it done now feeling.
its kind of hard to do that considering that the season is longer than expected. Also we wont be getting new content for months. I do think that Bungie is saving the do or die stuff for TFS considering that , that is do or die because if the Witness betas us its gg no reee.

Wait, the season’s over?! I didn’t even get to play any of it! Downloaded the game twice because I kept getting an error, then I find out that my hotspot (the only source of internet connection I have atm) was why the game wouldn’t work 😢
You can still play the season, the story just unlocks a portion at a time over several weeks

This season has amazing craftable weapons, great new world drops, and the best story we’ve had since witch queen. Definitely recommend playing it 👍🏼

It's all canon. This isn't an anime filler arc. There is no manga/source material. It's all canon to the story even if it's a trash last minute addition that's being shoe horned in like Lightfall

With Cayde, it'll likely, hopefully, be explained in The Final Shape.

Technically, we have no idea that he is even there. The only reason that we as players know that cayde is coming back is because they hyped us up in a trailer for final shape. Our guardian does not know that Cayde is even there.
The ending was to say the least disappointing in my opinion
This game definitely needs more gay characters, there's not nearly enough.
