Tokyo ghoul needs a reboot that adapts the manga better. So glad to see fans are still thinking about the series today! I'm falling in love with the series all over again after watching it when I was 14 so many years ago...
This reminds me of Denji. All He wanted was to be loved and live a normal life. I guess most Dark Fantasy anime have characters that go so overboard and kill everyone on accident just to be wanted and live a happy life. Wow that stuffs tragic
I love the anime, no matter what anyone says. It's wonderful in it's own way. I love the manga too, it's even more wonderful. I simply love Kaneki, even at his worst. He has a beautiful soul, no matter what ugliness he goes through. He never loses his desire to love and protect. He may not succeed in demonstrating it correctly, like many of us, but that really is all he is trying to do. He's not a hypocrite or selfish, and he doesn't just want to be "needed". He wants to be *useful* , there's a difference. He can't stand feeling *helpless* , as in unable to help. And it's not to distract from his loneliness. While he absolutely doesn't ever want to feel emptiness, abandonment and loneliness again, for sure, more importantly he doesn't want *anyone* *else* to ever feel what he has felt. He gives far more in his relationships than he takes. His devotion and intentions are unwavering, loving and pure, even if he cannot always remain pure. Or even sane.
I have severe PTSD and recently found Tokyo ghoul. I loved the show because it had a lot to do with going through trauma. I found this because I was wondering if other people saw what I saw in the show lol. The ending to this video meant. Didn't expect it to turn around and motivate the viewer.
Absolutely amazing video! Character analysis was very well put together and everything built up and was interconnected with one another showing the full scope of Kaneki’s evolution. I have nothing to say on the series itself though as I have not seen it yet at all, but from what everything you’ve said about from the powers to world and most importantly it’s characters I am definitely gonna give it a read. Everything looks so good so far and I can’t wait to see the full picture for myself. Especially the horrific moments and awesome forms and powers.
I love how people believe eren from aot went through a lot just because he saw his mom getting eaten . Lol Spoiler if you havent read the manga Takizawa from tokyo ghoul was forced to eat his own parents and he was a fucking side character untill this happened . Just imagine what kaneki went through .
I will definitely get around to doing that one day! Also I like the reveal I expected him to be evil but not in the way we are seeing. I’m ready to just see more Black Clover
I've never cried or resonated with such an anime since I've read and watch this series.... Such a poor soul sooooo much power soooooooooo much pain. 😭😭🥺🥺

Fr the TG manga is one of the craziest reads ever imo! I doubt a reboot would happen tho.
I've watch there series around 7 times from ep 1 to the last.
Kaneki got one of the best glow ups

Through trial and tribulation his character changed along the way. Plus being a ghoul.
The truth is that kaneki took everything he went through and just made a gigantic Evolution out of all of it making him the man he is

The anime was bad after the first season
@@TheSantach I've definitely seen worse. I just take it on it's own, and don't compare it to the manga.
Even when he wanted to die he made sure to save Hinami first
My favorite anime ever .. I love the character development and everything.

thanks for this upload been needing a topic like this
Trauma is a serious b****..
It's probably why kaneki resonates with me, just like Ichigo.
Agreed.

Now I finally understand what furuta meant when he said kaneki failed every time
Can you please make a video on Furuta 🙏🏼
Also what was your thought on the Julius traitor reveal in BC
I will definitely get around to doing that one day! Also I like the reveal I expected him to be evil but not in the way we are seeing. I’m ready to just see more Black Clover

I love Tokyo ghoul, thank you for making these videos. 🥰❤

Another Tokyo Peak vid
Tokyo ghoul is a complex piece of literature
Kaneki was the one character that was so close to me.. I feel we were the same.. except the killing and eating humans..
Yamori looks like sid from ice age tbh
Fire video bro
Black turns white then black and then back to white again.
You forgot the part where his hair was black and white lmao.
@@adampenbrook5751 Oh darn it 😂
@@brianachim2670 Yeah, his hair is surprisingly complicated. 😭
@@adampenbrook5751 Just like him😎
Nop, yamori just wanted a "toy"
he has no idea what he's talking about he's off on a lot of things but good to see Tokyo got some fans
Why are u calling Kaneki selfish becuse he's "running away from his trauma". Isn't that just human, if u had a trauma u wouldn't just accept it.

Kaneki a gassed protag
No❤🔥
So is kaneki selfish?
Yes but he didn't realize it until Yamori's torture
