Thank You for watching this video has taken nearly 2 weeks to make I hope you enjoy it. David😄
Vauxhall was amazing untill PSA Bough them, really simple yet stylish cars were built. Interiors solid and modern and the exteriors simple and stylish. PSA Group made Vauxhall way too french. Great video :D
There were a few fast Vauxhalls you forgot! The Calibra and the Cavalier 2L Turbo 4x4 as well as the Astra and Corsa VXR! Other than that, great video!
What about the VX490 and VX 2300 GLS from the 1974 to 1978 time ? Popular cars but not made by Opel so when we went to Europe in the GLS "S reg" on holidays in the early 1980s we would often have people asking us what the it was.
Are you seriously talking of a Vauxhall Kadett at 3:10? To me, it is an Opel Kadett, the name Opel is even embossed on the hub caps. It would be the first example of the cooperation between the two manufacturers under the GM hand.
The GM era of Vauxhall made blue collar cars for, mainly, the working class which was actually just really comforting to me, because they were stylish and likeable at the same time. I wouldn't feel quite right in an Audi or Mercedes. I love how Vauxhall used to just say "f*** it, do it!!" louder than anyone else: Baby Bertha, late 70s aerodynamic styling, Lotus Carlton, BTCC, VX220, the Monaros, the VXR range being more powerful than their rivals. Also, pre-GM, Vauxhall were one of the most prestigious marques on the planet, before the likes of Bentley. They were a firm favourite of the Russian royal family and made the world's first sportscar, the Prince Henry. After the GM purchase, the Queen owned at least 4 big Vauxhall estates over the years to drive around the grounds and to horse shows. Unfortunately, they'll be rebadged Peugeots now. What a crying shame!!

Wyvern 'a Crestas, Victor's... What about them. Plus some of these on your list are rebadged Holden's.

You are giving the UK brand name way too much credit, it’s a rebadged Opel.
