Guys I just figured it out. Press FN + Space bar if you have a little icon on your space bar. I was looking at the f1-12 keys, but it was on the space bar this whole time!

@GeemathPathiranage initially F5 alone did not toggle my backlight. But after i turned on the backlight by pressing Windows key plus the f5 key to turn it on, I can now toggle the backlight on and off by pressing f5 alone. very strange.
This guy does not know anything, all he did was play around with the settings windowed (changing the size and where it was at on the screen) and also loved to say "one step closer to fixing" Like how, this has no info on how to change anything in setting to "Enable" also most of all keyboards use the space bar now but only keeps the light on for that session, making it to where you have to keep doing it every time but we all know "this is only one step closer to fixing it"
You literally only said ONE thing about windows 11, that it MIGHT be in your keyboard settings....and then proceeded to NOT show us where those setting are in Windows 11. Take my downvote, you earned it.

On my precision 5560 laptop, windows button + F5 turns it back on. Hope that helps
