Rikhardson definitely deserves it. To have the skill to pull off such a shot, the courage to do it when you currently have a 1/7 success rate in the tournament, and for it to actually matter (I think Bellahcene would have stopped it if he did a regular shot) is beyond spectacular

So is almost every goal in handball if you use slow-mo (shooters almost always step in zone shortly before releasing the ball…) The way I see it: it was allowed by referees so it’s a good goal. And let’s not kid ourselves: it’s the most « iconic » goal of this competition so it should be there. I think they put Prandi’s goal in the final as a « way around it » but it’s obvious everyone’s still thinking about his last second goal vs SWE.
I wonder if they wanted to include Prandi vs Sweden, but due to legal reasons it wouldn't be the smartest thing to highlight that goal
