@Steve Hickman is size not dicated by diet, and feed anything 5 pounds of raw meat a day and it will be huge. Bruce is a lovely example of a cane corso. Stop trying to stir shit. Its a good chanel with good information for people to learn from, stop hating man.
Actually Bruce Wayne is very correct to the Breed Standard. Weight in standards is only an issue if there is a cap on it. The FCI European Standard as well as the AKC US standard do not have a weight cap. Therefore not a fault. Everyone knows the standard is far from perfect and a lot of kinks to work out. The standard is a guide to follow and not an exact science rule. Most judges on either side of the ocean judges the Cane Corso with one eye opening and one eye closed because they know we have only been recreated if you will for the last 40-50 years unlike other breeds that have been around for 100 years. Did you know this breed was almost extinct in the 70’s due to starvation and War? On one hand we are a very old breed but on the other a very new breed because of this fun fact. Cheers!!

I love that she says she takes applications meaning she will consider you...and that she is picky when choosing a owner. That is perfect. She's not looking to just hurry up get rid of an make money asap. But making sure you are a good fit and qualified to be an owner. That's perfect! I would be the same exact way if I was a breeder and letting someone take one of my babies home. I would want my puppy to have a great, loving healthy life without zero worry with people I trust to do just that.
I agree. And not just that but also imagine the danger and destruction a strong and powerful dog like that can bring if the owner has little to no control over their dog. It's always so sad and hard to hear about an innocent child/person getting attacked by someone's dog/s. Now not only are the victims suffering or don't make it but now the dog/s who did it have to be put down. Seems like these types of incidents can be avoided if the owners truly cared and put in the work needed to train their dogs properly. It's not fair for the victims nor the innocent dogs that get put down for the owners lack of responsibility and concern for others.
Well most of the time I see that happen its do to price. Everyone wants the best car on the lot doesn't mean everyone can afford it. You don't want to have 85 fuel in their rari's. They are breeders each person they inform and deter is another person they saved from a bad match. I think its the most important part is getting information from the breeder and seeing if its a good fit because not every Corso breeder is the same some breed their dogs different.
Jason Corey I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and he’s small compared to my last two but big for his breed. We think he’s tiny but ppl are terrified of him cause of his size. They also yell at me for having an “aggressive dog” bc they think his ridge is his hackles. :/
My sister in laws corso charges you then dive bombs your feet for belly rubs. It's hilarious. Outside people think he's dangerous but he's a 160 pound puppy lol.

My son has a beautiful Cane Corso called Maximus. Love him so much. They live in a not so nice area so having Maximus is a good deterrent. He’s so gentle and wonderful with children and other animals but he is also very protective of my son and his partner xx
My husband bought a Cane Corso from a breeder in WA state from the Scandifio and Phantom bloodlines. Bruce Wayne reminds me so much of our dog, Hooch. He is great with kids and loves outings to Home Depot and any place that allows us to bring him in.
First- Bruce Wayne is gorgeous!! Second- I totally get why the breeder got her first Cane Corso. I'm from the city, but we've been in our weekend place in rural upstate NY since March, and I can't get used to it being so quiet and dead. We have two bulldogs that would sleep through an armed robbery, and will walk away with anyone holding a cookie, so if this becomes our permanent home, our next dog may be a Cane Corso.
Got the wrong bulldogs. These dogs were bred in fighting early on in England and property protection and catch dogs in the US. Go smack your breeder lol
Fernando Meza the thing is though even with some of the best genetics, if the dog isn’t trained for protection 90% of the time it won’t actually attack an intruder. I just watched a video of a dog trainer explaining this and even doing an example where he walks onto someone’s property with a bite suit on and the 2 German Shepard’s didn’t do anything other than bark, and these weren’t any German Shepard’s.
Being someone who fosters and rescueshod many abused, neglected, ditched, and sadly over bred dogs I am so glad to see a responsible breeder out there. I'm not anti breeding. I'm anti get a dog and not take care of that dogs needs all the way around. They are not temp pets or going to raise themselves. You do a awesome job of putting out a positive message on being a responsible owner. That is what I admire most about your videos. Bruce is a amazing dog. This was such an interesting video. I enjoy hearing breeders explain their breeding process. She comes across as highly educated and dedicated and responsible. Love it.
Fantastic bunch of dogs there but the lady is just too loud with her high pitched shouts and whistles...hurts the ears. Also the audience has no connection to the dogs and she is not as interesting. Just my opinion.
I love how dogs remember the person who breed them no matter how long its been since they have seen them. My rottie and my brothers rottie do the same thing, get so excited when they see the 1st person they remember from birth and associate with their mom. You can tell Zoey's genuine love for the breed and every puppy she has breed. She is responsible for those dogs having healthy genetics and that they go to a good home. She is not in it for the money, but for the love of the breed. My brother is a Rottweiler breeder and is the same exact way. I wish there were more like them. I have a feeling she is going to have a very long waiting list for puppies now.

I’ve been rescuing pit bulls for a few years now trying to work my way up to a cane corso. I’ve been working with dogs for 10 plus years and I can’t wait to get one of these beautiful dogs. I live in southern Cali but would love to meet this breeder even though she is in NY.

I love the breed and am a fire fighter. I got two of these awesome dogs to watch the house when I'm gone. They sure do! One of them is a puppy from Zoe out of Ligeia (one of Zoes all time favorites)
15 years ago I adopted my Cane Corso from a private family. He was 4 years old, and was a perfect fit with our 4 year old Bull Mastiff and 4 young children. The BEST DOG I'VE EVER OWNED!

I wish I everyone would watch this. I have a 14 year old Boxer named Jax. He was my first purebred dog that I got from a breeder, and looking back i wish I knew more back then. My boy has been the perfect companion with the perfect coat that everyone loves but i probably wouldn't have supported the breeder. Not here to bash but simply to say it's a joy to see the love from this breeder. It's important to learn about them. It's a two way application. It's important that the breeder can see that as well.

Great video Jason, Zoe and Bruce Wayne. We have one of Zoe's pups, 10 weeks this week. Amazing pup, sits before we place food or water, before going in and out of the house. Took exactly 1 week to teach him with sit, stay now he just does it without asking.. They are such incredibly intelligent breed and I feel so fortunate to have this young buddy. And yes I did figure out the breeder from earlier posts but I wanted BW and you to reach the 100k mark bc I have learned so much about this breed from you, BW and Kara and wanted to do right by you guys, Hope we can all meet up sometime and let BW meet his cousin Mr. Bentley. Lovely vlog...Bruce seemed to instinctively know her. I had no clue on color combination part or that the fawn color was predisposed to skin ailments!.
Been really considering getting a cane corso with my fiancee over here in the UK withn the next 2 years but really using these 2 years to see as many breeders as possible over here and now maybe looking abroad too. Jason, you know what’s funny, before I saw this broadcast I was thinking of making arrangements to purchase a, Cane Corso from an actual Italian breeder in Italy. Was trying to figure out how to go about it and what’s the cost involved. After viewing so many breeders online across America I decided to go with actual dogs from Italy. So many rude people and like you said just interested in the money not giving a quality breed of character. Enjoyed this video immensely the breeder understands the dog.
I’m so glad she said they’re breeding for tighter eyes! I hate it when people breed these dogs with those droopy eyes that get a million eye problems! She sounds like an incredible breeder! Very trustworthy!
That sounds nice but I have spent 20yrs rescuing them post purchase or trying to breed and it has been such a shame on humans. She started when we started rescuing and so they were ahead of her. Although, I must say that our first boy, Thor was very abused but such a lovely boy. He was afraid of my husband because the breeder/abuser was as a man, he eventually became the best boy of all time. Much like your Bruce Wayne. At any rate, I am glad she is a good breeder but the bad ones are out there en mass. We’ve rescued 5 throughout the last 20yrs. Let’s hope they stop the bad.
Gwynn Kawakami I appreciate your response and I commend you for rescuing. Here’s the deal. You are right about some things all breeders are not created equal. I do not condone puppy mills or over breeding. This is the main reason why dogs are in rescues. If breeders would commit to taking in and rescuing their own breeding stock we wouldn’t have such a huge issue as well. I’ve personally never had a dog in rescue or have to be rescued by anyone other than myself because I take my own dogs back and rehabilitate them then place them in families. Most credible breeders do this!! Not credible ones do not. Keep up the good work helping to resolve this major issue and thank you for not being a breeder hater but a person that stands up and wants breeders to be responsible. Take care.

My Cane Corso will be one year on the third of September and he is a nice size but I can't imagine him getting so big like Bruce Wayne. So excited about that. And excellent video, my husband and I enjoyed it very much!!!!

Fantastic bunch of dogs there but the lady is just too loud with her high pitched shouts and whistles...hurts the ears. Also the audience has no connection to the dogs and she is not as interesting. Just my opinion.

I love how dogs remember the person who breed them no matter how long its been since they have seen them. My rottie and my brothers rottie do the same thing, get so excited when they see the 1st person they remember from birth and associate with their mom. You can tell Zoey's genuine love for the breed and every puppy she has breed. She is responsible for those dogs having healthy genetics and that they go to a good home. She is not in it for the money, but for the love of the breed. My brother is a Rottweiler breeder and is the same exact way. I wish there were more like them. I have a feeling she is going to have a very long waiting list for puppies now.

I’ve been rescuing pit bulls for a few years now trying to work my way up to a cane corso. I’ve been working with dogs for 10 plus years and I can’t wait to get one of these beautiful dogs. I live in southern Cali but would love to meet this breeder even though she is in NY.

I love the breed and am a fire fighter. I got two of these awesome dogs to watch the house when I'm gone. They sure do! One of them is a puppy from Zoe out of Ligeia (one of Zoes all time favorites)
15 years ago I adopted my Cane Corso from a private family. He was 4 years old, and was a perfect fit with our 4 year old Bull Mastiff and 4 young children. The BEST DOG I'VE EVER OWNED!

I wish I everyone would watch this. I have a 14 year old Boxer named Jax. He was my first purebred dog that I got from a breeder, and looking back i wish I knew more back then. My boy has been the perfect companion with the perfect coat that everyone loves but i probably wouldn't have supported the breeder. Not here to bash but simply to say it's a joy to see the love from this breeder. It's important to learn about them. It's a two way application. It's important that the breeder can see that as well.

Great video Jason, Zoe and Bruce Wayne. We have one of Zoe's pups, 10 weeks this week. Amazing pup, sits before we place food or water, before going in and out of the house. Took exactly 1 week to teach him with sit, stay now he just does it without asking.. They are such incredibly intelligent breed and I feel so fortunate to have this young buddy.
And yes I did figure out the breeder from earlier posts but I wanted BW and you to reach the 100k mark bc I have learned so much about this breed from you, BW and Kara and wanted to do right by you guys, Hope we can all meet up sometime and let BW meet his cousin Mr. Bentley.

Been really considering getting a cane corso with my fiancee over here in the UK withn the next 2 years but really using these 2 years to see as many breeders as possible over here and now maybe looking abroad too. Jason, you know what’s funny, before I saw this broadcast I was thinking of making arrangements to purchase a, Cane Corso from an actual Italian breeder in Italy. Was trying to figure out how to go about it and what’s the cost involved. After viewing so many breeders online across America I decided to go with actual dogs from Italy. So many rude people and like you said just interested in the money not giving a quality breed of character. Enjoyed this video immensely the breeder understands the dog.

Would you know why do people in India play around with breeding of German Shepherds?, just wandered as I’ve seen some really bad genetics.
That sounds nice but I have spent 20yrs rescuing them post purchase or trying to breed and it has been such a shame on humans. She started when we started rescuing and so they were ahead of her.
Although, I must say that our first boy, Thor was very abused but such a lovely boy. He was afraid of my husband because the breeder/abuser was as a man, he eventually became the best boy of all time. Much like your Bruce Wayne.
At any rate, I am glad she is a good breeder but the bad ones are out there en mass. We’ve rescued 5 throughout the last 20yrs.
Let’s hope they stop the bad.
Gwynn Kawakami I appreciate your response and I commend you for rescuing. Here’s the deal. You are right about some things all breeders are not created equal. I do not condone puppy mills or over breeding. This is the main reason why dogs are in rescues. If breeders would commit to taking in and rescuing their own breeding stock we wouldn’t have such a huge issue as well. I’ve personally never had a dog in rescue or have to be rescued by anyone other than myself because I take my own dogs back and rehabilitate them then place them in families. Most credible breeders do this!! Not credible ones do not. Keep up the good work helping to resolve this major issue and thank you for not being a breeder hater but a person that stands up and wants breeders to be responsible. Take care.
Yeah I just had to go through a 30 mins interview in a way. After I answered about 17 questions even for them to considered me as a possible owner. Going to pick up my boy in 2 months 🥺
