Taylor kills the cheating husband and frames the mistress. The cops thinks it's the mistress and the mistress knows it's Taylor But no body no proof 🤷♀️
I haven't laughed this hard in awhile... but you trying to figure this out HAD ME DYIN. Yes, SIr. Tay did it. It was a 'good thing' she knew how to drive a boat, clean up a crime scene, and a 'GOOD THING' that his mistress took out the policy b/c it made her LOOK like she had motive, which means Tay doesn't get blamed.... even tho the mistress knew it was Tay (but she couldn't prove it). And a 'good thing' the sister (who was on Tays side b/c i'm sure she knew he killed Estie) was willing to give Tay an alibi. And as Tay also added she wasn't letting up until the day he died & paid for cheating on then murdering Estie.
HAIM is actually three sisters: Danielle, Alana and ESTE! That’s where the name Este came from and the mention of her sisters backing up Taylor’s alibi 💅🏻✨
husband unalives Este, takes home his mistress, Taylor unalives the husband with the help of Este's sister and blames it on the mistress, but because she has a boating license and can clean houses, she will get rid of the body well, and nobody can really blame it on either of them, cause there is no body, therefore no proof. police think mistress did it, mistress thinks Taylor did it, but no body, no crime. Este is a real name, it's the name of one of the HAIM sisters, they've been friends with Taylor for a along time now, like 10 years probably.
He killed his wife and covered up his crime. After dumping her somewhere, he changed his tires. Taylor took revenge by killing him and knew how to cover up the scene and framed his mistress
What you should also be aware of is that two of Swift's albums -- folklore and evermore -- were written during the pandemic and were basically an exercise in imagination. In interviews, Swift has explicitly said that those two albums are not based on her personal experiences , so no, she did not actually commit any crimes or do any boating activities
I love how she says “we meet up every Tuesday night for dinner & a glass of wine” at the beginning and then says “she wasn’t there at Olive Garden” when the story really starts to take a turn. I also just find it funny to think of Olive Garden being the choice for Taylor swift & Este Haim’s Tuesday wine nights 🍷😂
The proof is I the tense.... I WASN'T giving up UNTIL the day he DIED. Song ends. She did it. I think this is just a good song or a cautionary tale to Taylor's friends significant others. 😂
Este is Este Haim one of Taylor’s close friends who is featured on this song. Taylor uses names of friends and friends children. She uses the names of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds daughters in the trilogy on folklore (the teenage love triangle. Songs Betty, Cardigan, and August), James, Betty and Inez. The songs are typically fictional or not real events in that friend’s life.
Oh, she did it. And that foggy lake combined with our narrator Taylor’s boating license came in handy to deliver vigilante justice to Este’s cheating, murderous hubbie. It’s ok - she had to do it since the cops weren’t gonna (no body, no crime). But glad you appreciated the detail re the new set of tires on his truck. I always pictured him taking poor Este’s body to some local bog that might be good for disposing of bodies but also has really unique soil to get embedded in every tread (or pick up tire tread marks). Great country storytelling song. Love the fact that Taylor wrote her bestie Este Haim into it and it’s Este’s sister Danielle saying “she was with me dude”.
Taylor’s friend thinks her husband is cheating and says to Taylor she’s going to confront him. Her friend goes missing and he reports his wife missing, he has new tires (I imagined his wife slashed them when confronting him or he changed them out after dumping her body so there wasn’t evidence) and he moves his mistress in. Taylor knows he is responsible for killing Este so he can live with his mistress and she’s happy to have the skills to cover up his murder (boating licence and being able to clean up a house to cover evidence) because she’s not going to give up until he pays for his crime and she knows she won’t be found out cause she has an alibi by Estes sister. The mistress takes out an insurance policy on him so when he goes missing the police thinks she killed him but she knows it was really taylor. Taylor is a fan of crime dramas and this is her version of one but in song form. It’s a masterpiece!
Just great story telling from Taylor about Esti going missing presumed dead, and in the twist the character she’s singing about (not herself) gets the husband and the police thinks the mistress did it as she took out an insurance policy, no bodies were found so no crime. Obviously the sister was in on it as she is the characters alibi. Thanks for reacting to this great song
I’ve been waiting for this one! Taylor’s character definitely killed her best friend’s husband and the mistress got blamed! Karma at its finest! Love your channel and your Taylor Swift journey!
Best reaction to this and I've watched tons. You mouthing, "What the fu€k" had me in the floor 😂 and your eyes grew round as plates! And Este is a name. It's a variation of Estelle or Stella.
So lots have folks have told you the story, so I’m gonna tell you about the style of song: a murder ballad. This takes a lot of inspiration, of course, from The (Dixie) Chicks’ “Goodbye, Earl,” but around the same time, a couple of other feminist murder ballads came out, including Wanda Jackson’s “The Box it Came In,” “Caleb Meyer” by Gillian Welch, and "Pretty Little One” by Steve Martin (yes, that one) and the Steep Canyon Rangers with Edie Brickell. But historically, murder ballads are about men killing women. They follow a traditional ballad format, meaning that they’re a narrative song about an event, and they generally tell the story of events leading up to a murder - normally a dude singing about killing a woman, often “the love of his life,” for some perceived, typically false, crime. (There’s a LOT of “stalking is love” behavior in them, too.) But you can also get the songs being sung from the victim’s perspective… or the victim’s ghost as she comes for revenge. Rarely, you can get a third person omniscient narration of events. Murder ballads are split into three other broad categories: Old World, Americana, and American Old West… but we have almost no examples of the latter because they were largely passed down either via broadsides no one kept or told orally in a very small geographic area. Old World ballads come from Germanic roots and are found across England, Scotland, and Scandinavia - these songs almost always have a mystical or supernatural element. Americana songs, on the other hand, often use the same musical score and even themes of Old World ballads, but the supernatural elements are removed. Instead of a ghost seeking revenge, it’s someone’s family. And Americana itself is a broad category. It includes all the folk genres, including all the country genres, but we also have gangsta rap (Eminem in particular) and soul/r&b (Macy Gray) as well as narcocorridos. Some folks also argue that teenage “cry and die” love songs of the 50s and 60s are offshoots of the same theme. Now, in the last 60-odd years, women have started to take the murder ballad back, and their narratives tend to be ones of revenge - typically revenge for domestic abuse. In the last 20-30, it’s slipped out of country music and bled across all genres. For classic murder ballads, try the Old World English ballad The Godport Tragedy, or the Americana version of the same song, Pretty Polly. For other classic Americana songs, try Lloyd Price’s “Stagger Lee,” Wayon Jenninsgs, "Cedartown, Georgie" or Lyle Lovett, “L.A. County.” Sting wrote “I Hung My Head,” which was recorded by Johnny Cash. For a more contemporary take on murder ballads, try "Where the Wild Roses Grow" by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds or a number of songs by Eminem, including “‘97 Bonnie and Clyde” and “Kim. “Dance with the Devil” by Immortal Technique is an example of a third person telling the story, and of course, “Thunder Rolls” by Garth Brooks (especially the live performance with the fourth verse). Enjoy!!
I am currently binge watching your Taylor content, about halfway through currently, but I had to skip to this once since you just posted AND it’s one of my many favs!!!
Taylor did it lol 1. She can drive a boat 2. She can clean up a scene 3. Este’s sister is going to be her alibi 4. The mistress took out a life insurance policy (🚩 to the cops) 5. Mistress is saying it’s Taylor but they can’t prove it 6. Mistress gets blamed 😂
Ooooh so close! I was rooting for you! He killed Taylor's friend so Taylor killed him but it appeared that the Mistress did it because of the life insurance. That's why she said Este's sister is GONNA swear she was with Taylor. Taylor explained she has the skills to take him out and she has her alibi. Boom! Also why would the Mistress think Taylor killed him if the mistress did it herself? You were so close man!
This was so funny to watch!! Kinda shows us how the guy in the song didn't see it coming, and how the only one who gets what truly happened isn't the police but the mistress, since she knows how a woman thinks
Este is short for Esther. I know other folks have mentioned Este is the name of one of the HAIM sisters, but didn’t see anyone explain what it’s short for. When I first heard the song, I didn’t have the lyrics up and thought she said “Espi” (a nickname for Esperanza, the Spanish word/name for ‘hope’) and I was gobsmacked to hear a Hispanic name come out of her mouth (sorry-not-sorry, Taylor)! 😂 Goes to show I’m more ranchero country than Nashville country, I guess!
Let me tell you something Bro! I'm always waiting for your Taylor's reactions...Awesome good vibe!! You are a Pro Comedian and natural entertainer!!!! BETTER than most host of awards shows!!! Keep your excelent job !!! God Bless You !!!
HAIM (pronounced like 'high-m') are 3 sisters that are in a band. Haim is their last name. Este is one of the sisters in the band. The song is not a true story. Taylor loves crime shows/docos which inspired the song.
Your reactions, guesses and analysis for this made me LOL in the best way, except now my cats are YELLING AT ME… I mean… when I heard this song all i could think about was Hazard by Richard Marx, one of my first musical loves. And as a creative writer (thriller/mystery etc) songs like Hazard and this one… Indescribable!
TS did it. She had a boat license no one knew about. The mistress took out a policy on him and he disappeared, so she's a suspect, but she didn't do it. TS has an alibi, cleaned the scene, and got rid of the body. This is just a nicer version of 'Earl', by the Dixie Chicks. In that song, 'Earl' beat his wife(her friend), so they fed him rat poison and buried him in the swamp. No one cared because no one liked Earl. Everyone lived happily ever after ;-)
Clearly, someone was watching the The Cleaning Lady! That woman can clean up "anything or one" I took a law class on how to get away with murder. We studied real crimes and cases, and it makes me laugh when I hear this song! Love it!
Este (Esther) realized her husband is cheating. She confronts him, and he kills her. He moves in his mistress. Taylor kills the murderous, cheating husband, and disposes of his body in a body of water. Este's sister agrees to be Taylors alibi for the husband's murder. Both Este and the husbands bodies were disposed of, so neither disappearance/death is marked as a crime by the police.
This is like when you read a choose your own adventure book and you picked the 🔥 path - and yeah the boat and the lake/fog and the cleanup all are important cues 💕 (bwahahahha) 🙊
Este is her actual name, she's one of the Haim sisters. The song is fictional. Basically Este suspects that her husband is cheating on her because he smell like his mistress' perfume (smells like infidelity), has her lipstick on his mouth (that ain't my merlot on his mouth) and was buying jewelry for his mistress from their bank account. Este says she thinks he did it (cheat), but can't prove it. She confronts him, he kills her and then changes his tires (I assume they had mud/blood on them). When Este doesn't show up on their weekly dinner and can't find her anywhere, the narator (let's say Taylor) notices the new tires and thinks the husband killed her friend, but can't prove it. She kills the husband as revenge and Este's sister is her alibi and she frames the mistress because she just happened to take a life insurance policy. Police thinks the mistress did it, mistress thinks Taylor did it, but no one can prove anything. Also, Taylor does actually have a boating license 😂
I mean, Taylor really does have her boating licence.... Husband cheats Husband kills wife Taylor kills husband Mistress thinks it was Taylor but can't prove it Mistress looks guilty because of the insurance policy
lol you almost had it but Taylor did kill him. She had the boating license so she can drive a boat, she knows how to clean up a scene and set up her alibi with Estie’s sister and it just so happened that the mistress took out a big life insurance policy so she’s the most likely culprit and will blame the mistress and not Taylor
Taylor’s character did kill Este’s husband, (and Este’s sister gave her a fake alibi), but Taylor makes it look like his mistress did it , helped by the fact that the mistress will get paid life insurance money now that he’s dead.
Esté confronted her cheating husband, and he killed her, got new tires and moved his mistress in. Taylor thinks he did it, but can’t prove it. Taylor killed him (but had an alibi with Esté’s sister) and took him out in her boat and dumped his body, and then cleaned up the murder scene. The mistress had taken a life insurance policy out on her lover before he died, so the police think that she (the mistress) did it, but can’t prove it and the mistress thinks that Taylor killed him (but also can’t prove it) Taylor alters the last line to be “No body, no crime, but I wasn’t giving up until the day HE died.”
She unalived the cheating husband bc he killed her friend….and as luck would have it, the mistress had taken out a life insurance policy on the “missing” person. Without a body and no evidence…there is no way to prove it. All circumstantial and the mistress is the most obvious.
I hit play so fast. I have a feeling you are going to love this, but be a bit confused 😂😂😂😂 I say this because all the guys who react to this get confused. Us girls already know... ❤❤❤
We know Taylor did it. One thing us Swifties have learned is You Don't F**K with TayTay cause nothing is 'Better Than Revenge', so she's 'Done Something Bad' and ' You Will All Get Yours'.
Dude cheats on Este (Taylor's friend), Este calls him out, he kills her and burries her in the forest, his mistress moves in, Taylor knows it's fishy, she kills the dude, drops him in a lake and let the mistress take the blame. But since there's no body found, the mistress can't be jailed right ? What happens next ? Taylor I have questions.
lol. She says, “este’s sister is GONNA swear she was with me”…. Not that she WAS. Taylor did it, but thankfully, the mistress had a life insurance policy on him so it looks like the mistress did it.
Taylor did it. She dumped the body with using a boat and cleaned up after the act. Este's sister was her alibi. The mistress had taken out a life insur. policy, so she was the likely culprit.
Este confronts her cheating husband and slashes his tires, so he kills her and reports her missing. No body, so he gets away with it and moves his mistress in. Taylor and Este’s sister avenge her death by killing the husband and framing the mistress! But again, no body, so no crime.
Taylor did it. The husband killed Este. The new tires covered evidence and the mistress moving in proved the affair and gave reason for murder after the wife confronted him. When police couldn’t prove it, Taylor took it into her own hands. She killed him, dumped the body (boat reference) and cleaned up the murder scene. Estes’ sister is covering her/giving her an alibi. She framed the mistress to tie up loose ends (as the mistress was the cause of the murder most likely) with the life insurance policy. Cops think mistress did it but can’t prove it. Mistress knows Taylor did it, but can’t prove it. No body no crime!
Taylor did it and framed the mistress. “Good thing the mistress took out a big life insurance policy” (motive) “good thing Este’s sister’s are gunna swear that she was with me” (alibi)

He killed Taylor's friend, so Taylor killed him in revenge and let the mistress take the blame
Taylor kills the cheating husband and frames the mistress. The cops thinks it's the mistress and the mistress knows it's Taylor
But no body no proof 🤷♀️
But the mistress took out an insurance policy.....😮
I watch True Crime and side eye the world. Tay watches True Crime and writes a song.
This reaction had me laughing the whole time. Taylor confesses to murder and you say, let me know if this is a true story 😂 🤣
I was like nooo bro people die 😭 😂
She was on her vigilante shit.
I laughed so hard too, this is one of my favorite so far.

I love this song. It's like a Dateline episode in 3 minutes.
Ohhh there’s closure!! Taylor frames her bffs husbands mistress for his murder and gets away with it 🥰
Este is Este Haim one of Taylor’s close friends who is featured on this song. Taylor uses names of friends and friends children. Taylor definitely did it. She wasn’t giving up until the day he died.
That's why after some of Taylor's sweet revenge songs I say, "9-1-1 hello, I'd like to report a murder."
Lol!!! WHAT IN THE TWISTY TURNS IS GOING ON HERE? 😂😂😂 Absolutely my FAVORITE Reactor!!!!!!!!!!
I know! I rolled 😂 over him mouthing what the fu€k and his eyes 👀 round as plates. Then the twisty part. Love AB! I knew he was gonna be confused.
He’s my favorite too. ❤😍
He is truly the best!!
YESSSSS!!
Taylor said she watched a LOT of true crime during pando lockdown! She wrote her own story!
VIGILANTE JUSTICE!!! 🫶💯 Don't fuck with 'our' Taylor! 😂

The mistress takes out an insurance policy on him so when he goes missing the police thinks she killed him but she knows it was really taylor.
Taylor is a fan of crime dramas and this is her version of one but in song form. It’s a masterpiece!
Este and Danielle (who appears later in the song) are two of the three Haim sisters, who form the band HAIM. They are close friends with Taylor.
Just great story telling from Taylor about Esti going missing presumed dead, and in the twist the character she’s singing about (not herself) gets the husband and the police thinks the mistress did it as she took out an insurance policy, no bodies were found so no crime. Taylor did actually get a boating license when she was a teen XD
Watching you be a detective, is cracking me up.
This is a story. That’s how good she is. Her imagination at work.
Taylor be all twisty! That’s why she be T-SWIZZLE! ❤😂
Let say Taylor character took care of business. But her sis friend was her alibi.
I’ve been waiting for this one! Taylor’s character definitely killed her best friend’s husband and the mistress got blamed! Karma at its finest! Love your channel and your Taylor Swift journey!
Yup you got it AB

Do you think "Black Cadillac" by Carrie Underwood or "Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia" Vicki Lawrence or Reba version qualify as murder ballads?
Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed this.
Fancy is also a good one. (Not a murder ballad - but in the same vein).
@@carla109 I was thinking the Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia too!
Wow!! This was really informative and fun to read! Thanks a lot
The HAIM sisters are Alana, Este & Danielle
This would make a great TV show
I am currently binge watching your Taylor content, about halfway through currently, but I had to skip to this once since you just posted AND it’s one of my many favs!!!
Closure received.
Love this song.
6:10 literally my face when she did the twist “She thinks 𝓘 did, but she just can’t prove it.”
Oh I love the comments!!! He did and Taylor did it too.😂😂
Taylor did it lol
1. She can drive a boat
2. She can clean up a scene
3. Este’s sister is going to be her alibi
4. The mistress took out a life insurance policy (🚩 to the cops)
5. Mistress is saying it’s Taylor but they can’t prove it
6. Mistress gets blamed
😂
One of my favorites! Love your reaction.
Ooooh so close! I was rooting for you! He killed Taylor's friend so Taylor killed him but it appeared that the Mistress did it because of the life insurance. Let me tell you something Bro! I'm always waiting for your Taylor's reactions...Awesome good vibe!! You are a Pro Comedian and natural entertainer!!!! BETTER than most host of awards shows!!!
Keep your excelent job !!! God Bless You !!!
Taylor definitely did it.
The husband killed the wife, then dumped her body somewhere and changed his tires after. So then Taylor kills him and frames the mistress.🙂
HAIM (pronounced like 'high-m') are 3 sisters that are in a band. Haim is their last name. Este is one of the sisters in the band. The song is not a true story. Taylor loves crime shows/docos which inspired the song.
Best reaction! So fun! It’s like a Dateline episode up in here.
Your reactions, guesses and analysis for this made me LOL in the best way, except now my cats are YELLING AT ME…
I mean… when I heard this song all
i could think about was Hazard by Richard Marx, one of my first musical loves.
And as a creative writer (thriller/mystery etc) songs like Hazard and this one…
Indescribable!
Loves how he has to break the song down, because Taylor’s music always tells a story, wether hers, someone’s or fictional 😂
So Taylor bumped him. Did you get that? She knew he had it coming 😅she did it for Esty..full circle thing
TS did it. She had a boat license no one knew about. The mistress took out a policy on him and he disappeared, so she's a suspect, but she didn't do it. I took a law class on how to get away with murder. We studied real crimes and cases, and it makes me laugh when I hear this song! Love it!
Lol you crack me up with this reaction 😅😂
I was waiting for this one! 🔥
I just love your energy!
also este's name is the child of blake lively and ryan reynolds!
Love it..what the twistie turns..lol..😂😂😂
This is the song that converted me from being a casual Taylor fan into a Swemo
Yes I do it!!!
like whoa
You were too funny, think about that last line.
no closure yaaas!! cause no body no crime!!
Love your videos! And I love this song too!!
KB….. I think you’re dope!!! Best song reaction Guy out there!!! Thank you!!
Husband kills wife
Taylor kills husband
Taylor frames mistress
Mistress never gets caught because…no body, no crime.
Taylor did it but the police think the mistress did it
I mean, Taylor really does have her boating licence....
Husband cheats
Husband kills wife
Taylor kills husband
Mistress thinks it was Taylor but can't prove it
Mistress looks guilty because of the insurance policy
lol you almost had it but Taylor did kill him.
You have to listen to Haim sisters music. Three sisters make their own music. Ok.
She cleaned her up her crime.
She unalived the cheating husband bc he killed her friend….and as luck would have it, the mistress had taken out a life insurance policy on the “missing” person. Without a body and no evidence…there is no way to prove it. All circumstantial and the mistress is the most obvious.
I hit play so fast. I have a feeling you are going to love this, but be a bit confused 😂😂😂😂
I say this because all the guys who react to this get confused. Us girls already know... ❤❤❤
Talk to me, lightly.. one time for your boy. 🫶🏼
"now is Taylor going to take the third verse and give us the evidence we need?" Me: 😂😂😂😂
Este is actually a friend in a group called Haim (obviously she used her name, but this isn’t based on real life). lol.
LoL no u didn't figure it out 😅😂😂
😅😅😅😅
Bless his heart 😂😅
lol. She says, “este’s sister is GONNA swear she was with me”…. Not that she WAS. Taylor did it, but thankfully, the mistress had a life insurance policy on him so it looks like the mistress did it.
she wrote this for the true crime obsessed girlies (me)
Taylor did it. She dumped the body with using a boat and cleaned up after the act. Este's sister was her alibi. The mistress had taken out a life insur. policy, so she was the likely culprit.
Taylor did it lol. Este’s sister was her alibi. She said she would “swear” she was with me, not that she actually was with her.
Este confronts her cheating husband and slashes his tires, so he kills her and reports her missing. No body, so he gets away with it and moves his mistress in. Taylor and Este’s sister avenge her death by killing the husband and framing the mistress! But again, no body, so no crime.
This song could be a Dateline episode!
Taylor has said she enjoys watching crime shows like Dateline on TV, so she wrote a song with a crime show plot..
ABtheReact can u react Taylor Swift's song, called Cowboy like me please?❤❤❤
you were so close
A new car possibly!
PLEASEEEE do ‘The Last Great American Dynasty’🙏🏻
There’s a theory that this is a continuation of Betty, Inez, and James. Estie is Betty and Inez killed James as a revenge for killing Betty.
Check HAIM out!! Was a super fan of them before TS 🤣
Taylor did it and framed the mistress. “Good thing the mistress took out a big life insurance policy” (motive) “good thing Este’s sister’s are gunna swear that she was with me” (alibi)
She did it. But because of the life insurance policy, people are looking at the mistress.
