wtf.. where did you get this live recording? .. we only played this maybe two or three times live in the period before the release of the first album. btw you should add me in the pic as well because this is basically a song that I wrote the music for... That's probably why it never was released on any album ;-)
Very interesting. I just discover that on TH-cam. Best band of this period with the finest music, powerful, innovative. Is there somewhere the real bio of Xymox ? It's obvious that the quality has dramatically decreased after you, Pieter, and Anke Volbert quitted the band. Ego drama due to the pride of the leader or lovers fight between Anke and Ronny ? I was a complete fan when I was 15 since your first release and until Blind Hearts, after that, is was too disappointing, and 4AD was releasing better bands, so I moved on. The market has no mercy with bad quality, and music is a market too.
GREEEEAT!!!! This is certainly my best COX's track of ever!!!! It's a very older and rare live track. I have got item into a live tape recorded during a concert played in London in November 1985. I'm moved...
I heard this song live at least three times in autumn 1985. So that is after release of first album. Is Move the glass the original titel ? Also have it on bootleg ( concert in Nastasta the hague)
Yes I think "Move the Glass" is the original title. See below Franks Weyzigs comment. He wrote this song. For me it's one of the most intense and best Xymox songs. I think they played it live in 1985 and early 1986. I have some different live versions. But this is the best.
feeling 16 again... i had exactly this version of this song on a live tape! still great!
Extremely well-written song. Sublime and haunting rendition of a song that leaves an indelible mark.

This would have been great on the debut LP. Hopefully this wasn't one that was voted down by Ronny. Great song, Frank!
Gracias, Frank ❤❤❤❤. Es una maravilla😊

Add Frank in the pic!! he wrote this brilliant track!
Thanks for sharing this rarity! There's too little classic CoX music out there. Ronny was wrong to dismiss this one.
❤ Love this music
COX must have to release formally this song!
So great...thanx for posting!
Thank You🖤🖤
*lovely*
