I had a Popular, same colour as this but A reg. The very last of the Mark 1s. Originally had vinyl seats and no rear wash/wipe, parcel shelf, centre console or heated rear screen, though mine had had most of them retro fitted by the original owner. It was a great little car. I ran it from 9000 miles to 93,000.
I had a popular, brand new from 82 in what I think was cordoba beige and the interior was one colour brushed nylon beige, so seems a bit off to me for some reason, nice car though
That took me back to '91 or "92... unfortunately someone smashed into the back of my Chevette, Dad bought Mum a new car and gave me her '82 Fiesta Bravo II...thought I'd hit the jackpot 😂 2 tone red and silver paint and a sunroof
A friend of mine bought one of these exactly the same on a plate when it was brand new first thing you did was sprayed a bumpers the same colour and then put in really cheap electric windows
@@maxthelab8457 We all know someone who done this and that but it's never you like I know you will not win a rollover on the lottery statically it won't be you!
Lovely.
Don't you just love the simplicity of these cars.
No fancy electrics to go pear shaped and no expensive bills.
One of the last of the Mk1s.
So simple. Great.
I think it is a popular plus, the popular had plastic seats and no parcel shelf and no rubber strips.

One for festival of the unexceptional.
This is a 1983 ( Y ) model.
I could never drive a car without headrests - slight rear impact and your neck would snap.......................
