Really nice, well thought out design. those metal brackets make me nervous a little bit. I also didn't see whether you Sawzalled off the eye bolt excess. You don't want those sticking out.
those metal brackets are hurricane braces for a house, they won't be going anywhere for a while, we didn't saw off the eyebolts on the back as we are only using the post temporally, until we have the money for steel.
I thinking of this, how about in the middle of the two sides that hold up the 2x6s. to use a 4x6 hanger that can hold two 2x6s so the plywood can have more to lay on and one less 2x6 to buy. just a thought that i'm going with. whats your thought on this question?
I was gonna make one in my basement... Was going to use canvas drop cloth (thick ones) and not a tarp.. Also how soft is it, like to slam on it, pain wise? I was gonna fill mine (before putting on the big plywood sheets) with old tires. Also why not cover the posts/rope in some kind of foam? Would what I'm thinking a good idea? I want to be able to slam hard without thinking twice.
@@dansretrogamingandwrestling i like watching your videos, but in all seriousness, the rings with the wooden floor supports on edge like yours are phased out of show use for a reason, yes they had their time and place, mostly because they were cheap to make, and the guys wern't bumping as much in those days. i am a ring builder, and i also make wooden framed rings as they take a lot of abuse and are easy to replace, but the floor beam supports are all steel. so are the posts. not trying to knock you guys i'm really not i started out by building a ring similar to yours, so i know where your coming from, but these days its all about safety
Just to ask, can you use three 2x4 that are four feet apart that's under the 2x6? because i seen a ring setup that had three tubes going one way of the ring & 7 tubes going across them. p.s i might make my own wrestling ring thx to your part1, part2 & part3 videos
there not in the ground, thats what the strap is for, its the same as on a pro ring the strap takes the pressure so the post will not move no need to put in the ground
without proper training like Super said injuries can occur. We used to do that for a martial arts school when we did training at the park while the main teacher was on vacation. It was a cool way to advertise
Theorcman2008 wwe no longer uses spring rings rather a Flexbeam style ring that is just steel tubes. And If you check any major ring manufacturer it's been this way for years.
Daniel Strouth I just saw the video from WWE that was posted on youtube looked like flexing leaf springs not "tubes" anyway your ring doesnt seem to have alot of give to it maybe you got to be there.
wwe hasent used a spring loaded ring since 1998 they switched it out because ppl were getting hurt, and vince had also started wrestling and they switched to a softer ring for him

Do you have an idea on how to modify this method for a 6 sided ring or possibly an 8 sided ring?
How far does the beams need to be from eachother
Cool ring, how long did this take
where are you located at I can wrestle for you
hey where are you guys located could we practice on your ring ? we don't have one. we're gonna build one in a year but we need to practice.
How did u keep the ring post in place
Would the screws not stay in place if I were to keep unscrewing them every time we get done with a show?

it would work fine we used a tire ring setup previously and it did fine you will need to adjust your tires ever so often as they will move around

You said yours is not cemented in, what do we do if the corners aren't even? (different hights)
Did you use two hand straps or one?

I'm sure you could but it wouldn't be very coast effective, as the extra mounting brackets would largely increase the price
How much it dit costed you guys? You know to take the materials.
I love it but did you get the entrance or no
no i actually moved shortly after and no longer have room
How deep are your ringposts in the ground?
Is there any possible way to make a ring portable with out digging holes in the ground
FCWE Pro Wrestling this ring isn't dug in the ground its, completely portable and can be setup inside of gyms
Thank you
How much did it all cost
there not in the ground, thats what the strap is for, its the same as on a pro ring the strap takes the pressure so the post will not move no need to put in the ground
do you still need wrestlers?
It sounded like a real ring. Good job both of u
thank you
2 one going from corner to corner, so all for post has a strap connected making an x in the middle
nice video and great job explaining what you were doing and why :)
How's it held up?
the ring is still standing in my ex wife's yard, so it held up better than my marriage lol
+Cordell Hall how wide is it in feet like 12 feet wide
16
try to leavle the dirt out or shave some of the post to make it level if its not going to be moved
Daniel Strouth really want you to come to my house and build one for me I am
obsessed with wwe
One question, in all seriousness, how much would you charge to build a wrestling ring?
Cordell Hall you buy all parts and around 350 labor
Alright good to know, we'll keep in touch in the near future
How do you make this so its portable?
You buy a few gym mats and just throw them on the ground wherever you go, problem solved...
gatorgaming11 u could still get badly hurt.....
without proper training like Super said injuries can occur. We used to do that for a martial arts school when we did training at the park while the main teacher was on vacation. It was a cool way to advertise
How long did this take
we was able to build it in around 2 days. after the initial build it can be taken down and put back up in a few hrs
How much did this all cost in total?
about 1,000 but realistically around 800, we screwed up a few times
Can wooden rings have metal beams
yes they can and its very easy to do
how much money was it
I'm the best at that
+Sandy Wilson oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Still looking for wrestlers
About how much did it cost for all of the material that you used to make this ring?
Kraków 1000 it would be 1 to 98 hours
Yes anything from 1/4-1/2x4x8
Wrestling ring made of steel
Dude! It all looks good except your shaking hand! Hold the camera steady of give it to someone else!
Do u need wrestlers
deon hurn yes where are you located
loacation?
wats a lumber
How
I see London, I see France 3:24
around $1000, less if you use nylon rope instead of cable
Part 3 will be uploaded in the next 2-3 days, waiting on a clear day to film it, also if you pm me, email i can send you a materials list
Dude I super placed on it and it exploded
I'd suggest more padding. WWE uses more padding but put a microphone under the ring
yeah an extra layer or some closed cell foam would greatly reduce the impact
wwe hasen't mic'd the ring since the early 2000's
hi
Good job 🤤
I really want a wwe ring
yes 2x30
Really they had to use carpet instead of foam woooow
I saw your boxers haha
Why is your ring not spring loaded??? I know wwe uses a leaf spring system and it helps with bumps and stuff.......? are you trying to hurt yourself?
Theorcman2008 wwe no longer uses spring rings rather a Flexbeam style ring that is just steel tubes. And If you check any major ring manufacturer it's been this way for years.
Daniel Strouth I just saw the video from WWE that was posted on youtube looked like flexing leaf springs not "tubes" anyway your ring doesnt seem to have alot of give to it maybe you got to be there.
Daniel Strouth Hey, how much, excluding the ropes did this whole thing cost?
&did you put the posts into the ground?
The spring is obsolete. They use flex beams
wwe hasent used a spring loaded ring since 1998 they switched it out because ppl were getting hurt, and vince had also started wrestling and they switched to a softer ring for him
1/2
