Tbh it's no wonder why survivors just give up. Just had my first game in a week, bubba slugged everyone at 5 gens, and faked giving hatch to the last survivor. When you go against players like that regularly, it's hard to not just go next
@@fieldagentreaper People didn't quit because you were mean-spirited (cause you weren't), maybe they just saw a noticeable and sizable skill gap between them and you, and chose to leave. Sometimes DBD just puts low MMR players in high MMR for some reason and when that happens and they see you with all your chain flicks and box spawn knowledge and constantly triggering chain hunt, they knew they were screwed already, that's probably why.

Once 3 survivors are hooked with no gens done that's basically a good sign how the rest of the match will go. Thankfully there's a punishment for DCing but unfortunately not for just dieing quickly. In regards to the hook suicides (and DCs): Cope has basically a library of exactly such cases and I've definitely noticed that it happens more often, the higher your MMR is. The ridiculous (or actually rather sad) thing is that it always happens at the slightest inconvenience. I just can't fathom how you can be mad at losing to an obviously good killer (character and player) on a map like Dead Dawg.
Pinhead is one of the killers that really benefits from good perks more then others, everything he has either distracts people from doing your hexes for example, enhance your gen regression even more, or be useful in chase by his m1 attacks
I mean, I completely disagree with your standpoint on bots going for the box. By someone quitting, the survivor team just loses a teammate who could've potentially done better at looping and surviving than the AI controlled player realistically can with their training/balancing by behavior. The idea is that they're already getting punished severely by having the player DC. Letting bots just genuinely use the mechanics that counter you is a good balancing trade off so at least if the survivors are forced to play against a build like yours without that other player.. they'll still have a decent chance to fight back and get out.
Slugging at 5 gens and being oppressive with the chain hunts, plus devour hope in play eventually? Can't say that's a round I'd want to stay in either, just being real 😂
There is some things you can do with the third perk but overall its basically a "Fuck you in particular" kind of thing that evolves around who ever the obsession is. Though there is a way to kind of make everyone suffer with said perk in a way.
BTW the most guarantee 4 man kill build for pin that I have played is the red addon that injures, Thanatophobia, sloppy butcher, hex devour and undying, you get crazy healing decrease, plus hard totem cleans and not that often but aura reads from undying dull totems. In general NASTY build

I've had fun and success with Wretched Fate + Dying Light + Friends to the End + Furtive Chase. Either the obsession avoids me and I profit or they don't and I profit. It's like making the survivors play hot potato with misery. Throw in some chain hunts and it just gets bleak.

the problem with distortion is the playstyle it promotes, it's too passive and it ruins the fun of your teammates AND the killer at the same time. Then you eventually call the game boring because you never really interact with the killer, and thus suck at looping and have little to no situational awareness. Keyboard Warrior rant-ish thing aside, the problem with distortion is not that it blocks aura reads and scratch marks, but the fact that it sucks the fun out of the game for everyone else who ISN'T running it.

Hey Field agent would you ever be down to do a video on why survivors feel the need to end them selves on hook? I'm very curious what reasons they all have.
Seeing people slugged and being constantly hindered from doing your only objective (gens) before a single gen has popped feels oppressive and miserable. I don't play survivor to marvel at how effectively I'm being murdered, I play to take some decent chases and get some gens done and in general feel like I might have a chance, even if the round ultimately ends in a 4k. I've had some very fun rounds that ended in a killer 4k, but I've never regretted going next from a round where the survivors are being steamrolled.
The devs made survivor easier and killer harder so killers play shittier with tunnelling proxying because all other playstyles were gutted. Survivors see this and lose hope/give up.
I cant get a match with pinhead without anyone DC. Idk, why, but what is it about to play fucking game, not lobby simulator. One game match just started, and 3 people just turn into a bots. Im not winning 100% of the games, cant do cool chain flicks. Maybe survivors just dont wanna see anyone who isnt Freddy with brown addons and perkless. Good video btw, love your content. This is what happens when you make survivor quality of life to easy mf’s don’t know what it was like before 2022 and would’ve deleted the game first match. I just see it as a cleansing of sorts because ppl like that should not be in my lobby or game on either side ☺️ blame the new matchmaking system their “balance” changes or the lack of a true tutorial but we didn’t have it either and things were wayyyy worse when I started but if you stick it out and try you actually get good and don’t have boring games either the same killers
Yea it would be nice to get matches where I gotta pull my weight a bit more, maybe in the future I’ll see if I can find a way to make that happen by doing more matches and seeing if something can happen
He has his settings on low to make it easier. He's also done something to his FoV to be able to see more it looks like. I ain't saying its a pretty game by any means but it doesn't look this bad lol

the biggest percentage of the player base and who also contributes for the game is not a super nerd player who actually knows how to play perfectly and loop the killer for 5 gens. you guys live in a bubble. some people play and don’t wanna get tunnelled and camp bc someone is doing a billy streak with just agitation or something stupid like that. is not fun. and killers are always balanced to not feel weak against full time gamers. boring.

Yup! Thats why I believe pinhead has the best verstile kit in the whole game, he can do so many different playstyles and thats why I enjoy him so much

So far I've only used Hex: Wretched Fate as a complimentary perk to Dying Light. Gives the obsession a little more work to do.
