When Robin started doing standup in the mid 70's, he used to do a character called Nicky Lennon. He spoke in a Russian accent. If you remember, there was a man called Karl Marx who helped start Communism in Russia. In the 1920's a very funny comedian called Groucho Marx became famous with his brothers Chico, Harpo, Gummo and Zeppo. If you look up the Marx Brothers, you will see that Groucho used a cigar and often moved around bending over a little. In his act, Robin used to do this immitation of Groucho but said it was Karl Marx and said "Imperialism is the most absurd thing I ever heard" or something similar!! It was very funny back then confusing Karl and Groucho Marx. Hope this helps!!!

I met Robin in in the early 197o’s Chicago and he was exactly as he describes. Very shy to almost being timid. He walked on stage and transformed into what we know him to be. A great comedian with the quickest wit.

You know, Michael J Fox has Parkinson’s, but he works against the effects of the disease & takes meds, etc. Michael isn’t good, but he’s not dead, either. As for my Crush, Robin, I think his diagnosis of this disease was the last straw for him. It was just one too many blows for him to recover from. I miss Robin. Did Robin Williams enter into the same Witness Protection Program as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Elvis? Maybe…no matter what, now is the time for each person to ponder this question. What would I do if confronted with demonic evil unlike anything the average man has ever seen? If offered enough “stuff,” would I step into it or walk away. What would you do?
BTW: Who else do you think decided to go into the same Witness Protection Program? Here’s a guess: “Princess Diana?” Who else may have needed an escape route?” There are others…wait and see!
Are you starting to get the feeling that this story may be but a small part of the greatest story on Earth?
