Loved the video today! The way you, and Matt, just go about feeding the Red Foots and Cherry Heads, as the “light sprinkle” turns into a deluge. The tortoises sure look happy!
I love lumpy ❤ i have had 2 leppard tortoises now for 4 years and a sulcata they are doing really well 😊 just building their outdoor enclosure. Thank you for all the videos and information I have learned so much from you ❤
Love a red foot video. People never understand why I own a Russian tortoise and want to own other species they say they are just slow and boring. Tortoises are smart as hell and when they see you and they think food is on its way the run. These animals have been around longer than us and would out live us because if we didn’t have houses and places to buy food we would crumble. The kamp is really looking amazing. I’d love a update video on the radiated tortoises as well and also the baby Aldabras
Love it. Sunday Morning with the red foots and cherry heads. Such lovely animals just being beautiful. Thanks Kenan for showing us your blissful backyard oasis for your sweet turtles.
Awesome video Kenan! I gotta say it, the tortoises are my favorites at the kamp, and that Lego…what a little hoot. ❤❤😊. Great job Kenan, and Matt you are such a good addition to the kamp. Keep em comin’!!
It's just so fun watching tortoises eat. They always seem so delighted to cromch things. I had a Russian tort baby and I used to grow organic strawberry plants for her to have the tender leaves. She loved dandelions, their greens, and sow-thistle too (a dandelion like plant).
I miss Tom as your videographer. I know life gets hectic and things change but change is hard for so many of us. Having said that, Matt is doing such an excellent job! I like how he is basically seeing everything through new eyes, kind of like I do.
Good morning Kenan Happy Sunday love to watch all the tortoises come out to eat. Love lego. The red foot and cherry heads are so pretty. Thanks for explaining how to tell what sex they are. So much for that light rain, it turned into a real down pour. Matt does an excellent job filming, even if he got a nice shower😅❤🐊,🐸,lizards,🐍,and🐢Cindy
I kinda miss the leopard torts, but I get it... choices have to be made. I remember when you took Lego out of the bag and our collective hearts sank... now look at her! Too cute :)
You need a cone drain my guy. Pop out that flat one and pop on the cone. You could use an upside-down pond plant basket over the drain too. Probably stake it down so the torts don't push it off the drain. Love the shell dwellers😊
In 1966, I received my first of many Redfoot tortoises. Sadly, she did not last as long as I would have liked, as my Father just did not understand Tropical Tortoises requirements, and pneumonia took her . 57 Years later, I currently have 3 Cherryheads that I love. My only problem is that they are 3 beautiful girls, no males. I miss breeding them like I did in the States before retirement. The best around. Great video.
Thanks for the Education! Here in the UK tortoises are normally kept in Viv's unless you go to a wildlife centre etc. But my ex girlfriends mum had a 40 year old who used to spend all day in the garden through summer. He used to love chilling with my dog. I've had yellow bellies, pythons, turantulas, CDW, Bosc monitors and beardies, but never a tortoise. Although it's something I would love in the future, I don't currently have the facility to give them the life I would want them to have.
Cows have also been seen chewing on bones to supplement their calcium. I’ve seen them do it on my grandparent’s farm in PA as a kid and was like “wtf?” *If you can lift the drain cover put a piece of 1/2” screen/hardware cloth between the drain and the hole. When it gets blocked it’s much easier to clean.*
I got a new red foot for my daughter. It was her kindergarten graduation gift. We had her outside with our other red foot so they could enjoy some natural sunlight. When I went to check on them the new red foot dug out and it’s gone. We are sooo heart broken! I miss our # 2 so much.
Princess lego is small but mighty, she has tons of personality. How is colin, ive been so worried about him since your vlog yesterday? Im sending him love and prayers ❤❤
Great video.. So Happy I found you. I LOVE redfooted. I have one- she is 12. Her name is Myrtle I got her as a baby. Myrtle lives outdoors here in FL. Plenty of space and perfect weather- but for the last 3 years she has been growing shoots. They are large. I've got her eating greens, fruit, protein, calcium powder. Is she OK.? I read alot about them and am doing my best. Funds are limited so I'm unable to go to a vet. Shes VERY happy. Plays with me& eats well
Love your passion dude your channel is awesome great video today as always❣ hi Matt I like watching you guys work you are becoming like the Apprentice🤠
My very first pet was a Herman Tortoise. When my sisters asked for hamsters, I got Charlie. I had her for about 6 years until she died in hibernation. She died with 2 eggs in her shell. I was so sad. Back in the 70s they were cheep and unregulated. I would love to have another but don’t have the time and resources.
Meanwhile, the redfoots are planning an uprising against Kenan--! As long as Slinky can't get out of his enclosure, the Kamp is theirs! Those tortoises have been watching the Star Wars Prequels too much lately. Darth Maul is their idol and role model! And Kenan looks a bit too much like Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan!
@@KampKenan Better a redfoot tortoise revolution than a "Chinese boxer" turtle revolution. Those crazy guys will eat everyone! And they can swim, too! My favorite kind of videos are the tortoises 😊

One of the best parts of your channel is the educational value you add. 🥴👍
Great video, I remember when you got lucky, how long ago was that. I've been watching for several years now!

Thanks for sharing Ben. Hopefully we can scratch your tortoise itch until you are able to get one!
Awesome vid Kenan. We love the RFs we got from you a couple years ago. They’re getting BIG
Lego!! What a cutie!
🤠
I love the redfoots and cherry heads.
That's funny, every one of those red foots was saying, "oh man, I just got hear and you're moving again, give it a minute will you"
:)

Legos shell actually looks better than when you first got her

Back in the 70s they were cheep and unregulated. I would love to have another but don’t have the time and resources.
Goals!
LEGO is so cute 🥰
If Buttercup gets another bug on her, would you say that she's "re-tick-ulated"? 😂
It's funny, when you speed up the video the turtles move so fast!
LOVIN' LEGO!!!!!!
We do love our redfoots…but we love our leopards too. Miss seeing your leopard horde
I remember when you got Lucky! I learned a lot from that video
That one was really cool anybody else see that one
Lots and lots of redfoots...
So funny seeing tortoise in the back, just waiting for someone to flip him back over.. They are cute..
💜💚💜💚💜💚💜
🤠
Queen of the creep of tortoises
😊
I hope Matt get's hazard pay!! 🤣🤣😋😋
🤠
hi, any links where i can get the foods they are eating? and what age should i give them repti calcium powder?
😂😂 Did you know that A GROUP OF TURTLES IS CALLED A BALE? ❤❤❤ Google pants told me this😅😊
🤠
With an outside enclosure how do you keep humidity so their skin doesn’t get dry ?
Hi Kenan
How long did it take you to get all the pens built and land scape done?
Where is Lobo I miss him he is always so happy puppy
How often do you feed your red foot tortoises? Is it enough for them to eat grass from the backyard?
If the food for the torts is freeze dried, why don’t you put some warm water on it when you feed to help them hydrate and poop?
Hey Kenan, love the episode was great what ever happened to Little Stevie the tortoise? She used to escape all the time lol.
❤
I'm a simple man. I see the redfoots and I click.
Redfoot turtle 🐢 awesome but where you find them
Question out of curiosity, when food gets freeze dried, does it retain its nutritional value
❤ LEGO'S LAND ❤
🤠
Hey Kenan,
Where did you get the baby red foot tortoise cage?
🇹🇹 Trinidad and Tobago have them too
Awesome video!
So how are your snake necks doing? Haven't seen them in a bit.
That one that rolled over had a massive tic on its arm
Naw leggo is so little, I didn't realise 😊❤
Hey Kenan, my 3 yr. old Sulcata likes to find Carrion! I'm guessing it's normal for all torts?? lol
I love the PACNW but it’s not great to have a red foot or cherry head outdoor for very long😢
Lego is like Rudy
👍👍👍❤❤❤🐢🐢🐢
Any yellow foot tortoises?
