Pilots can spend their entire careers trying to understand local weather variations that occur in mountainous areas.

I'm building a homemade helicopter. Compound turbo, all calculations say I can achieve a HOGE of 13500 metres.

I bet russian hellicopters won't have no issue going high on mountains
Thanks for the comment - it’s more a case of excess power and payload onboard . For example the Eurocopter / airbus as350 landed on the top of Everest, but it was fairly stripped out and only had the pilot onboard .
