Dimitri and Byleth are literally meant to be, you cannot convince me that they don't fall in love after everything that they gave been through together. I adore them so much ;~;

Funny story: I was going to pick Golden Deer for my very first playthrough, but then the those two cut scenes happened (the one where he offers to show you around the monastery, and the one where he's sparring with Felix). And I was like "wheeew 🥵 this white boy got me some type of way, maybe I'll stick around." And now when I think about it, if we're looking at the students through Byleth's eyes, that sparring scene is more proof that Byleth is at least attracted to Dimitri.

Well yeah they are actually a lot in common if you think it over. But the most defining thing is they both lost loved ones and both wanted revenge for them. Dimitri even goes so far as wanting to help avenge Jeralt(bless his soul). But when he goes coocoo for cocopuffs for awhile Byleth refused to give up, trying hard to breakthrough to him until Byleth succeeded.
This is one of my favorite ships! I really love what he said to the DeathKnight! Death Knight: Do you dare stand aganist me and my pleasure? Dimitri very protectively: Yes I do i can't remember the exact quote but it made Dimitri go into overprotective must protect his beloved mode! lol

I'm kinda mad at Lambert when he said that if the worst should happen, Dimitri would be ok. Dimitri was a CHILD and watched both parents die horrendous deaths in front of him. 😭 that little boy deserved better
Of course, I don't think he knew about his 2nd wife's betrayal. He was literally on his way to a peace talk when he was killed. So I think he thought Dimitri would still have a family and Roderigue to look after him. That being said, you are correct. If the worst did happen (which it did, Dimitri's entire family is killed in the tragedy and his uncle is killed later and Dimitri is framed), Dimitri would be absolutely traumatized and bettayed.

@@izayakanra It hurt for me since I played his route first, then golden deer, then church route, and found that in both deer and church routes, Dimitri died at Gronder field. Even worse is that you had the chance to join the kingdom Army in the church route, but seteth just wanted a whole month to rest before engaging the empire. This led to Claude's supposed retreat/death, Dimitri's suicide at Gronder, and Edelgard wounded, but still alive. I liked Seteth, but the moment that I saw Dimitri's ghost, I realized Seteth made a fatal mistake, and I hated him for it.
I don't cry easily, and I won't lie and say this made me cry, but if I cried *even the slightest bit easier,* I *definitely would've.* Goodness, I didn't know how to feel watching this - still don't actually. I wanted to smile because this was so well-made, it was full of emotion, it was powerful. But at the same time, I wanted to cry for the same reasons. Dimitri always had and always will hold a special place in my heart. So, for this, I can only say sincerely, *thank you.* *Keep up the wonderful work~ ^^*
I'm currently doing a Dimileth-only run. It doesn't change the story of course but it makes me so happy thinking that these two literally went through all of it by themselves, nobody else.
I first saw this a few months ago, back then I didn't know a thing about Fire Emblem aside from the name, I'm not even sure how I ended up finding this video but needless to say, I loved it and it made me really interested in Three Houses, so much so that I actually ended up buying the game and now it's one of my favourite games of all time. I've played it so many times and am still playing it and well, I just wanted to come back to say thank you. I know that seems a bit random, maybe even a bit over the top? but I honestly believe that if I hadn't seen this wonderful video, I wouldn't have brought the game at all so thank you very much.

Like others said, it is impossible to play blue lions route with female byleth and dont marry dimitri at the end, it just dont feel right not to do it, the relationship is so well developed even if its not canon, i know it is not the beauty and the beast xD but in some point gives me the same vibes, and this video and the edit are awesome, esplendid job mate

I think they designed Fem.Byleth to he with him, then M.Byleth with Claude.
