I'm glad someone finally did a video on Vald's ridiculous pistol. Everyone talks about what's best in the game, but this weapon steals to show every time. Sadly no one ever talks about it...I guess they missed it when he said go to his house 😂.

But think if instead of a legendary pistol, we would find a document that says whoever finds it will be given complete ownership of the house with limitless storage and possibility of adding any work station you want plus a landing pad for your ship. 😃
The keelhauer is the legendary version of this gun and doesnt have the awful space adept perk... and tbh the vaarun terror inflictor pistol bought from the starborn vendor is much better js
The Trickshot is much better for how you use the magshot (by tapping the trigger with full auto) since it has Skip Shot, making your second "burst" actually shoot 4 rounds instead of 3. It’s pretty nasty :O
I love this game. I would agree the main story was a bit slow (but I still really liked it) But there is so much good content in factions, and random side quests. The clones, the death ship, Juno, etc etc. It’s weird I’m not a BSG game guy, but I love space so gave this a shot, and love it. Anywho good video, like the content!
@6:47 Better to get rank 4! Damage falls off at range, which is mitigated by extending the range of the weapon. Hence : Higher range + target beyond short range = higher damage
The low range on pistols is why I haven't put any points into the skill. But I will do so eventually, you just need other skills to enhance the whole thing.
I have been having a blast playing Starfield some issues with crashing but im pretty sure i fixed that.. i noticed that if u just go fast traveling everywhere Starfield is a bit boring but if u actually travel to the planet then land instead of fast traveling to the landing destination you will have random encounters which give some real life to the game.. this one time i ran into grandma she fed me and gave me food to go and i made credits off her it was wonderful.. Starfield is great if ur not having fun ur probably playing it wrong
Intersting. I make Sarah use the keelhauler even though she's a laser girl, just because I thought it was such a cool weapon but burned through ammo. So, companion gets a single ammo and goes to town. Except the robot, he never uses weapons I give him.

being fixed to space adept makes it sub par, the journey to finding an advanced with shattering and other good affixes will be a trek. and youre likely better off just grabbing elegance.
I actually did visit this villa. I don't think I found that pistol, or if I did it wasn't the best and I don't have the necessary skill to add the right mods to it. Anyway, I ran through that house and it's garden and everything. I remember the spot you show around 2:55, I ran by many times but the slate stand was always empty. I have all the rest of the slates. Does it matter that I miss one slate for what should come next? The quest is still listed under Activites, and I think it's because I couldn't find Slate 1. But if nothing else I will remember your guide for when I go to NG+. Thank you so much! :)
I am lvl 71, in NG +1. The best I can get is purple or blue. I've even gotten several greys. I will update if this changes. Difficulty is on Very Hard.
True, it's a powerful sidearm, but that's just it; it's a sidearm with six rounds. One shot kill or not, you're constantly reloading the weapon. So I stick to large mag weapons and mod those before I do anything with a pistol.
It loads wicked fast though, even without any reload perks. But I swap between one like this, only better (see my main comment), and the Revenant, using the Revenant because of it's huge mag and decent power, (I can take down a level 100 Starborn in one clip, if I aim well).
I've never seen so many incompetent "it's boring" or "one of the worst games ever" comments. It's embarrassing. It's no worse than whatever garbage your favorite games is.

so it's just a magshot with space-adept ? if you need to mod it anyways might as well take the keelhauler and mod it, it's effects are way better. many other pistols also do far more damage than the magshot, such as the razorback or Va'ruun pistol (if you can get your hand on one)
@@ESOdanny but modifying any other magshot will still achieve the same damage. it's just a pre-modified magshot. A razorback or va'ruun pistol will still do more damage, even with far less optimized mods, so it's not the most powerful pistol, not even close.
@@ledocteur7701 This early on most players dont have a ranked up weapon crafting skill to add all the mods onto the weapon. The main reason you pick it up is to have access to the mods early. Also the varuun pistol is 2nd in damage (with a big skill commitment) 3rd is the razorback pistol or unique prime/deadeye, since they don't not fire 3 shots at once. They are obviously all useable and you can also just find a legendary high tier version that does more damage later in the game. As for DPS the mutineer pistol also wins. It's just a bit saddening that most of the unique weapons in the game aren't all that unique and that random epics and legendaries just outclass them in almost every way. Only a few of them sport a unique texture or a re-color and their effects can just be found on other guns or recreated with little effort or material. While I like starfield, I am not a fan of their Fallout 76 style approach to weapons and armor scaling drops. It just makes save scumming the best way of getting good weapons and creates a boring loop of "go to random location, cap raiders, get nothing, go somewhere else, repeat."
Starfield has hidden bosses, that almost seem to know they have legendry weapons. Then after dying to them, they act like everyone else and die easy and they don't have the same weapon. It's more wild than Elden Ring.
Everything in the game is like this, just meh. It's an ok game when it could have been genre smashing awesome. It's like Todd said, it's good enough, modders will fix it, they care more than we do.
If you are going for crippling, I would NOT wait on it because the longer you wait, the more other shooting perks you have and better weapons you have, the harder it is and longer it takes to level it up precisely because you do too much damage and just kill the enemies. I wish I'd started leveling it ASAP.
The mutineer isn’t bad.. but it’s certainly not great. I have a legendary magshot that came equipped w corrosive, 1-inch-punch, and lacerate that decimates anything I draw it on. In semi auto, it cranks out 633 base damage on the weapon itself. So while the mutineer isn’t bad, it’s certainly far from top tier. The keelhauler imo, is actually better than the mutineer.
I never got this option but I had a purple version of that gun also pretty early on. I just can't remember where I got it from. I gues I was lucky with the random drops.
I've noticed that it crashes a lot more often when you use the Quick Resume feature. If you start up the game clean without using the QR feature, it crashes a whole lot less. At least for me.

But then I found another non-named Legendary Magshot that had these added perks: - Furious: Each consecutive shot does more damage - Med Theft: Chance that humans drop extra Med Packs on Death - Shattered: Break through even the strongest armor I then modded it at the work bench with the following: - Magnetic Rails - Recon Laser Sight - Muzzle Brake - Depleted Uranium Rounds - Hair Trigger - Fully Automatic I only have level 1 in Pistols, but this results in Phys: 309, Fire Rate: 189, Range: 24, and Accuracy: 67.5. This thing mows down Level 100 Starborn in one clip, (6 bullets). Very fun! The only thing I don't like about these guns is the .43 MI Array ammo is fairly rare and isn't sold in large quantities, that I've found yet.

The sheer lack of acknowledgement of Roman Numerals by people these days is rather disappointing. I realise that not everyone will have studied the romans to the extent of understanding their numerology to the fullest but when the game is set in space and uses the Greco-Roman naming conventions that have been commonplace in astronomy for years? You lost me at “Space-Adept”. Terrible perk seeing as how the vast majority of gun fights occurs on land. This far from being the best weapon. Might be decent in the early game, but eventually you’ll find much better weapons with better traits than this gun
Yes I've done a video on how to spawn legendary weapons. But they can't be found at guaranteed locations with all the pre applied mods this early on sadly.

Do you really like this game ESO? The whole thing is just a big MEH. It's ok, not terrible but it could have been something special. The dialog is amateurish, especially compared to games that cared like BG3. The travel in space is just mind numbingly terrible when it could have been genre altering incredible. BG3 is probably one of the best games we will get this decade. Skyrim was the last decade. Starfield is decent but does not do anything ground breaking, in fact it removed my favoured aspect of exploration from Bethesda games (In fallout or in Skyrim i could walk from X to Y and have a bunch of random adventures along the way/get distracted by points of invest, this is something Bethesda did very well, Starfield does not have that in the same way).
Like I said, I compared all the unique weapons, the ambassador is not even in the top 10. It's 11th. It's not bad thanks to its pre attached mods though.

No need to bother getting this since the game is made for toddlers when it comes to fps combat. I've had it on the hardest difficulty and not a single perk in the weapons skill tree and EVERYTHING dies easily in this game except for ship battles, trust me if you know how to aim and shoot a gun in a video game, then you WILL NOT EVER have a hard time while on the ground in this game
That activity never appears after passing through the unity. I’ve looked tried and it’s not there lads house isn’t even there. Not once since passing through unity. Being that all you have is taken each time you jump universes. This game is not a good game. It’s crap. It’s also vary different for console players than pc players as well pc players can add mods to the game like in fallout 4 but not on console. Adult content in dialogue when romance a companion but all female characters look like teens. Not grown women. It’s creepy. This game might be better if console players could mod the game like pc players can. It sux that you lose so much every time you go through the unity like you may as well just run straight to ng+ 10 then start building and collecting because you can’t keep anything until you stop going through the unity.

Except it is -10% damage 90% of the time. Space adept is the worst perk. A white magshot pistol would be better than this.

I was going to suggest the trickshot for an semi automatic crit build, but mathematically i'm unsure which one would do the most damage.

The main story for those who haven't played is you are collecting these pieces of metal that give people visions just to see what happens.

My magshots base damage is not nearly that high.
You don't need to mod it, all the dps mods come pre equipped.

This gun is decent as. However i did ask Valdimir at like lvl 40 after he went to the Lodge and then back to the eye. So you can still ask him.
After seeing this, i had to get it back. I gave it to my follower,just swiped it back for myself😂

Its damage is so out of line of other pistols it makes me wonder if its a mistake, especially since you can easily get it really early in the game.

Ordinary white advanced Magshot is like 200+ dmg per shot. I found it very early. This is just a slightly better version of that.
I got some weird varuun starshard that does 200em and 200 physical so im happy
My mutineer came with the legendary perk that does more damage the less armor your wearing

I love this game but it is nearly unplayable on the Xbox. It crashes every 15 minutes to an hour. I think my record time for not crashing is 2 hours.
Really? I play on the series x and it doesn’t crash that often. It does crash, but not often enough to be a big problem for me.

You lost me at “Space-Adept”. Terrible perk seeing as how the vast majority of gun fights occurs on land. This far from being the best weapon. Might be decent in the early game, but eventually you’ll find much better weapons with better traits than this gun
Yes I've done a video on how to spawn legendary weapons. But they can't be found at guaranteed locations with all the pre applied mods this early on sadly.
20 at least tries for Vlads gun and no legendary worth a while. Some less than revolvers but not much.

Do you really like this game ESO? The whole thing is just a big MEH. It's ok, not terrible but it could have been something special. The dialog is amateurish, especially compared to games that cared like BG3. The travel in space is just mind numbingly terrible when it could have been genre altering incredible. It's like Todd said, meh, good enough, modders will fix what we don't care enough about to make it truly amazing. I'm looking forward
BG3 is probably one of the best games we will get this decade. Skyrim was the last decade. Starfield is decent but does not do anything ground breaking, in fact it removed my favoured aspect of exploration from Bethesda games (In fallout or in Skyrim i could walk from X to Y and have a bunch of random adventures along the way/get distracted by points of invest, this is something Bethesda did very well, Starfield does not have that in the same way).

@@Fazal12d No, I don't. I am not bored in the slightest yet. Its my favorite game this year so far. I have things i'd like for them to improve but I can say that about any game.
No need to bother getting this since the game is made for toddlers when it comes to fps combat. I've had it on the hardest difficulty and not a single perk in the weapons skill tree and EVERYTHING dies easily in this game except for ship battles, trust me if you know how to aim and shoot a gun in a video game, then you WILL NOT EVER have a hard time while on the ground in this game
Brother if you have hands you can play most Bethesda games on very hard difficulty 😀

That activity never appears after passing through the unity. I’ve looked tried and it’s not there lads house isn’t even there. Not once since passing through unity. Being that all you have is taken each time you jump universes. This game is not a good game. It’s crap. It’s also vary different for console players than pc players as well pc players can add mods to the game like in fallout 4 but not on console. Adult content in dialogue when romance a companion but all female characters look like teens. Not grown women. It’s creepy. This game might be better if console players could mod the game like pc players can. It sux that you lose so much every time you go through the unity like you may as well just run straight to ng+ 10 then start building and collecting because you can’t keep anything until you stop going through the unity.
