Congrats on the new deck Chris. Love that you ate going back to the roots of what got you into cards. Oddly enough, your video about finding decent cards cheap (Dollar stores, thrift shops,etc.) Is what got me into cards.

I LOVE the Knights, bought a bunch so I can have sealed and usable ones. The others I didn't open because they were more designed with cardistry in mind. As much as I love cardistry... I am terrible at it 😂

I bought my first brick ever from you and that was the 1st V1's. Got a brick of V2's, V3's and now the Holos 🔥. 1st decks are my absolute favourite and I absolutely love the intricate details but also the simplicity.

Ahh beautiful! Just had a thought while watching Kier Gomes. I was commenting on how 1st playing cards have become an edc choice comparable to bicycles for me so I wondered if there was any plans to get these cards in brick and mortar like Walmart, Riteaid, Walgreens, etc. I would love to be able see them in front of everybody. Anywho keep being awesome!!
Since there's only 20k of these made, you should fix your website. I've never seen a website before where it lets you select more than there is made. I can add a million decks and bricks to the shopping cart.
Selecting is irrelevant if your not going to purchase..

Congratulations on the release... Im a fan on the other side of the planet.. I really want to own a deck from 1st .. But due to currency conversion, and the only way i can buy it is thru reseller that selling it at prices 5 to 10 times than the original price .. eg: $10 v4 decks, sold around $70 before conversion... 😭 .. and $70 in my country can buy a month supply for groceries...

I have to be honest here. I ordered a holographic deck and got them very fast, surprisingly (USPS usually fucks my mail off). So excited to get them as I have never bought a deck of cards for $30 and opened them up while driving to work from lunch (I know, not safe).
Unfortunately, these cards don't have a luxury feel at all. In fact, they feel thinner than a regular deck of standard poker playing cards. And the printing of the face cards is, meh.
Listen, I am a Ramsay fan boy, love the channel, all the uploads, and not a hater at all. I don't want a refund or anything in return, they are very nice looking, especially the holographic sides, and hopefully I am the only one that feels that this does not feel like a value at $30. I have purchased the Metaluxe (Cobalt and Crimson) cards from Bicycle and they have a heavier "feel" that one notices after seeing the cards initially.
I can only imagine the comments this post will get, and for that I say, have fun and cheers to everyone!

How bizarre, I haven’t watched a Chris Ramsay video for some time. Then this evening, while bored I was thinking about what on earth I could use to distract my fingers. And I thought… maybe playing cards. So I went onto Amazon to look at playing cards and soon realised I had no idea which playing cards to get but then the thought hit me. Chris Ramsay likes playing cards, maybe he’ll have a recommendation on a pack to get in one of his old videos. Then I went onto your channel and there it was… a card video. The video you just put out was a card video. Maybe it’s a coincidence but I think not! The universe is telling me something.
Ugh $20 is just too steep for me…..WHYYYYYY

From someone who works in the printing industry, Chris isn't joking about the cost of hot/cold foil stamping. That sh!t is outrageous due to the cost of the foil and the ridiculous amount of "scrap" foil leftover after the stamping process.

Hey man, love these cards and all your video's! (for real, all of em) Recently I took a big interest in unique and artistic playing cards to collect. For example the 'Flying dog' decks from Ralph Steadman that i found on Art of play. I want to collect more of these kind of cards with a unique story or artist. However I do find it really hard to find cards like this. Can you, or other ppl in the comment section, recommend some kind of forum or facebook group or whatever to join a community? Or do you know helpful websites with information about collectible playing cards?
