[Infos zu ADAM LAMBERT]
Adam Lambert ist aus der amerikanischen Nachwuchs-Show „American Idol“ hervorgegangen (Platz 2/2009). Er wurde am 29.01.1982 in Indianapolis geboren, um dann im zarten Alter von 12 Monaten nach San Diego/Kalifornien überzusiedeln. Adams derzeitiger Wohnort: Los Angeles.
Seine erste Single „Whataya Want From Me“ wurde von P!nk und Max Martin geschrieben. Für das Debütalbum "For Your Entertainment" (Platz 3 der US Charts) erhielt er prominente Schützenhilfe von Linda Perry, Matthew Bellamy von Muse, sowie Lady Gaga.
2012: Die Singles vom zweiten Album „Trespassing“ konnten in Deutschland nicht mehr so gut charten wie das Debüt „Whataya Want From Me“ in 2009.
Mit „Ghost Town“ kann Lambert 2015 aber wieder einen Radiohit landen. Das Album hört auf „The Original High“.
„Velvet: Side A“ ist die neue EP des amerikanischen Sängers und Songwriters. Darauf sind 6 Songs, alle von Adam mitgeschrieben, einer davon ist die Ballade „Closer To You“. Die EP ist eine Hommage an die Musik, die ihn dazu gebracht hat, Musiker zu werden: Die Musik der 70er und 80er Jahre.
Seit 2012 tourt Adam Lambert auch als Leadsänger von Queen durch Arenen und Stadien auf der ganzen Welt.
Zwischen den Tourneen hat Adam Lambert auch Filme für sich entdeckt, mit einer -Rolle im Oscar-preisgekrönten Film „Bohemian Rhapsody“ und dem animierten Film „Playmobil: The Movie“ in dem er dem Charakter 'Emperor Maximus' seine Stimme geliehen hat.
