i come back to this clip every so often, i remember it helped with my insomnia back in the quarantine days too. its really hard to describe how comforting this cover is. edit: It really the end of an era, I cannot believe how soon she's going. 4 years seem like a lot but it all went by too quick. I'm going to miss her so much. Even if she's just stepping down from streaming 🙁
Every time I start to come to terms with Ame leaving, I wind up watching something like this and then suddenly I'm tearing up again. I hope she finds happiness in whatever her next adventure is, but I do still also really hope that this won't be the last we hear from her..

I know she’ll never see it here but I just wanted to thank Ame for this wonderful rendition of the moon song. My cat developed a fast acting cancer and unfortunately had to be put down to spare her any more pain. In her last days she became very weak and often looked lost (the vet says she wasn’t altogether there in the end and was likely slipping into instinct to find a quiet place to pass away). I don’t know why but this song seemed to calm her down and I played it in her final moments as she slipped away in my arms. I started out being a big Gura and Calli fan. Last year, i went to japan and stayed in Akihabara. I went to a gachapon machine with HoloEN standees trying to win of those two. As if by fate, they gave me Ame and then... Another Ame. I wasnt super familiar, but i remember her doing this song. I only became a fan after that, thanks to the gacha gods saying no, you must look at Ame, and so i did. I wasnt a fan for the whole 4 years but i am a fan now, and im glad i got to see her off. Thanks Ame and Myth in general, for everything. 😢
I was having a hard time finding this Amelia's moon song cover after Hololive Sing's channel got terminated. I am glad to find this channel that gave me an opportunity to listen to this song again.
