So mine the button is super crunchy. The blade flies open then stops just before the lock position. I oiled the button the pivot and it’s gotten a little better. Any thoughts on what may make it better?
Sounds like something is in there that oil can’t get out. Compressed air always helps if you have access to that otherwise you might need a complete breakdown and spa treatment.
@@serenityknives came out of the box like this. The button is crunchy and the button sticks to the bottom and the blade doesn’t lock every time. Pretty sad QC from Benchmade
@@keenobservations3050 if it came like that, more than likely that could be the problem, otherwise you just migh5 need to break it down and give it a good cleaning

@@serenityknives I think it is some jagged edges on the hole from the factory or the button is not smooth. IMO
