Troubleshooting Tips:
Q: Help! The corners of my gift wrap are all crinkly and unsightly. What did I do wrong?
A: First, celebrate that you got this far with your wrapping. Pulling tightly on the two long sides is super important and really helps those corners crease nicely, so try pulling your paper a bit tighter before you tape down next time!
Q: Whoops, I think I cut my paper too short. Can fix it?
A: Honestly, this is totally up to you. Sure, you could make a little patch if this is your last roll of paper and your just ready to call it a silent night, or you can save your "too-short-cut" for a rainy day and start over to make it fit the box just right. Up to you!
Q: I was too generous and the short edges of my gift wrap have WAY too much paper. What do I do?
A: If you can, gently peel off the tape from the center of the gift. This will make your paper nice and flat again so you can easily trim down the excess on the short sides. I really don't recommend trying to do this with the box still taped up and the short sides folded in. The paper just gets scraggly when you attempt to cut it, and you risk cutting too much without the boxes to guide you.
