The JB weld flex shaft on my SR80 pro is still holding tight! Ive upgraded to a sonicwake and got some upgrades coming, the snow is here though now so itll be a shelf queen until nenxt season
I guess you could but it's really not needed, as long as you properly prepare the connection it should hold. Filling a hole through the flex cable may weaken the cable
If you know how to use JB weld that shit is amazing i put a engine case back together on a motorcycle that threw a rod busted the engine case at the seam I put the two halves back together better than factory I think

could you drill a hole and pin with a steel pin for extra security?

Hi. How u can separate flex shaft for strong part of shaft? With hot?
Have you try loctite 603, 638 or 648? 603 is oil resistant but 648 is the strongest of them
I think 603 is recommended for the flex/stub joint! Same methods different Adhesive
Ok. Good job. But where can I find the hollow shaft and it's part number for a .187 flex cable?
I didn't see any .187 bore shafts either if I find one I will post the link.
