Yes, a soft reboot would be the best option to go. clean up both story plotholes, artstyle mismatches and a bunch of other good things. together with an updated look. aslong as the people making it hopefully has the same kind of passion and love for the existing frachise that we do, knowing what made it special and what the good and bad parts are
1. I believe that reissues of the die-cast cars and other stuff are the most likely specially for some kind of anniversary. And since they’re still making some of the cars all they’d have to do is repaint them 2. A prequel movie explaining how the Acceleracers came to be is brilliant! It would allow them to test the waters and see how much interest there would be for a potential revival of the series while also giving new lore/content 3. Idc what it takes. imo I think acceleracers should just stick with the first or 2nd theory. It doesn't need to be brought back to an extreme grand scale, it's been over 15 years so old fans like me of the series have gone way past the "waiting for the next movie" stage and just appreciating what we're even getting. Heck, I'm pretty happy as it is seeing it being acknowledged and putting into games like infinite loop and unleashed. As long as it's not forgotten, I'm happy
soft reboot is better than a total reboot.... id say soft reboot and 5th movie is better... a hard reboot can ruin litteraly everything and bring it in the wrong direction

I really wish for a continuation of the series, I would love it if Acceleracers was brought back into the line light, as someone who grew up with watching all 4 movies, I was enthralled with Acceleracers. I loved it all, the cars, the plot, the realms as well as the characters and their story arcs like Kurt and Markie’s rivalry as brothers(I would also loved to see an on screen of Markie’s time in prison and what was it like after he had been released and how he bought or built Spinebuster like Flathead Fury) and Vert’s character growth…. I was bummed out that that the series never got to finish off. I pray that one day that maybe…. Just maybe, we can see Acceleracers continue so fans of the series like me and more people too can see where The Ultimate Race left off and if Vert would become a Silencer like his dad or escape to try and reunite with his friends.
What i really want is a continuation, and having the acceleracers cars return for but also bring the other cars like titanium and the other cars they had designed. Its a long shot, most likely won't happen but I have faith
What I want is to bring back the cars in the main lines OR release them as the original AcceleRacers variants. That would be sick since you can only find some of them by mystery models like Rivited gets a single release in a year in mystery models. And finish the whole story the end Great video again!
Something that I've thought, maybe making minisodes (1-5 min) where they show the characters having small problems that don't affect the main story or lore, just to introduce kids/people to the worldbuilding and get them interested in it. Right now the possibilities are endless, nice video :)
I’m uneasy in regards to a reboot or lengthy continuation due to how companies target and monetize their products these days, but the show needs to have a proper ending. The characters, the cars, the plot-lines, all remarkably well done. The writing of the show was so superb that I’m enjoying it more as an adult than I did as a kid. For a show about kids toys, that’s something you rarely see. Period. I’d love them to give the show a proper sendoff but it’s gotta be perfection.

I came up with an idea how they could continue where they left off, Vert is staying because he went to the Acceledrome and he tries to find a way to sneak to his Car and get the AcceleChargers, using them to escape the Silencerz facility and I had my script involving individual floors and from the surface, it resembles a Military Facility.

My favorite idea for how Mattel could use the Acceleracers IP would be some sort of connected, yet non-direct sequel TV show (No Acceleracers 5). Especially if they brought back some of the WR characters that were barely seen or didn't even show up in World Race to provide some more backstory for them.
I think the correct approach is somewhat of a mix, and would logically blend with the current trend of releasing cars as DLC 1. Encourage further acceleracers and Highway 35 additions to Unleashed, give it a chance to be exposed to more players and increase interest 2. Assuming that sales of the DLC goes well, then they might consider making more die-cast cars to release. 3. If sales continue to perform the next step is to release more merchandise, such as the card game (maybe even add HW35 content to the Acceleracers TCG), hyperpods, sweepers, and more DVDs and Bluerays on the movies. 4. Assuming this is financially beneficial for the company and they believe there is a large enough market, I think the next logical step would be consuming from where the series left off. I definitely like the idea of a reboot that streamlines the animation of the series (and we'd all love to be rid of giganto feet) but redoing everything from scratch would cost quite a bit of money. So I think the more likely option is to continue with some minor tweaks to the animation style. Along with picking up from where it left off I think a prequel series is an excellent idea. Honestly though, I'd be happy with even a comic book or novel that ties up the story, as long as we get the conclusion
I don’t know if this seems at all appealing but something I’ve thought about is a sequel series with mostly a new cast but a few return characters(either in person or through flash backs). With those few returning characters being related to the main cast and also have them be a factor in why the acceleracers world changed and evolved drastically in like 10-20 year gap from the acceleracers series to current. I like the idea of maybe after tesla finally passing away maybe we see that with his research, and the help of the accelarons they help evolve some major cities around the world into hot wheels city style places(probably think infinite loop, stunt track challenge, or world race). With that but also the portals for the realms perhaps earth would become a hot spot for racing across the galaxy possibly luring new or familiar threats. It probably sounds pretty generic but I do believe something like that could have a lot of potential. It’s hard to put into words but just imagining some potential scenes with a few of the og cars as well as new ones. Seeing them racing around on these hot wheels tracks that loop and wrap around major cities creating insane speed to then fling the drivers into racing realms segment of the race is just really fun to me. They just need to capture an audience with the concept, have good characters, and have fun, action packed story lines. It’d probably follow more of an episodic formula but that can work. I think battle force 5 did it pretty well… I could keep going but I feel I’ve rambled enough.
I think the problem is that is a full cgi overhaul, and they would take the opportunity to fix things. Companies don’t want to just remaster, they aren’t video games.
For the die-cast cars, in order to help them sell better, just simply merge them with Mainline cards like most media related cars, it’s a much better resource-saving option compared to creating a brand new card style. And let’s be real, Co-Molded wheels aren’t coming back.

I think the better and easiest way to make Acceleracers return is the first option!! We all want to collect the original cars!! Make new packages and add information under the cars saying "Acceleracers Re-release" or something like that, in order to maintain the rarity of the cars that were released back in 2005. But I do think that they should make one more movie with the same amount of time as Highway 35 in order to end the story!! As much as I love Acceleracers, I don't want to keep seeing the series come back!! Too many sequels can ruin a franchise!! And the last thing I think they should do is create a Hot Wheels Multiverse... BF5 touched the concept briefly... and making this confirmed through Acceleracers would be the best idea!!
I feel like in 2020s, having Kadeem if he actually does return will be a trigger to like SJWs and start cancel culture so I uhh would rather not risk it.

Transformers it's the only now strong toy based franchise still going (an incredible mix of not so hidden product placement, racist jokes, objectified women, patriotism that only Bay could think of), the Lego series stopped after a flop and moved to another company (and I think we can all agree it was one of the best that reinterpred in an original and entertaining way the uncanny source material) and Mattel never accomplished something big, memorable and iconic or just fun to watch on big screen like the competitors (talking about flops like He-man and Max steel) . Still I'm satisfied with the Team Hotwheels campaign as an exceptional live action transposition, even without a real people driven plot but just car stunts

Why don’t Mattel just remaster WR and AR and improve sound effects, quality etc. I honestly don’t like reboots because reboots just ruin movies.
