Time is fucking flying... There's so much nostalgia behind this track for me. Me and my friends used ride our long boards for hours, through the whole city for miles. We'd go steal twisted teas from the gas station because they could actually fit in pockets. Cruise all day, and the party until the sun came up. Summer used to be magical. I'm 26 now, and after life hits you a bit. You lose a bit of that magic, the momentum you once had. I'm just glad I was along for the ride, thanks Jadu Heart for being apart of the soundtrack to our lives.

I've been listening to this for months on repeat. Somehow it only gets better each time. It's so melancholy yet sweet. The sadness/nostalgia of how things used to be and the reality of growing up, (the lines, "It was all we used to say, I don't want to die on a Sunday" and "I'm sorry if I was away, there's nothing for me here lately" CRUSH my soul), but, at the same time, treasuring that young spirit unashamedly, which never has to go with age ("I'm sorry if I'm not the model man you wanted", "cause I'm a kid, yeah I'm a kid") I ADORE it.
I FOUND IT! An old co-worker of mine went to Lost Village festival, and did a small video of you guys playing this live and I loved the sound of it, but we don't work together anymore, and she doesn't really do social media much anymore so never responded to my comment on who this was, I even tried to Shazam it!
