"sonic chocolate" i fucking love this guy. one of my biggest inspirations as an artist in general
lovely to hear rick talk so passionately about how he works.Absolute legend.Wish he would release some more music like 'bungalow with stairs'.I've always preferred his more downbeat tracks. So so atmospheric.
Rick smith is a sensory doctor the guy lives and breathes music software and hardware you can hear it when he Speaks so passionate about writing tracks. if he was a pop star he would be out along side people like Madonna or Michael Jackson , for consistently releasing amazing music over 3 decades what a legend !!!
My favorite band of all time. I actually love the fact that I can call an electronica act...a BAND.

Lovely nerd 👏
When he says "Lo-Fi", which plugin is he talking about exactly?
Thank you! :)
Will definitely take a look just to compare Pro Tools with the less user friendly Live/Launchpad S kit I have got as birthday gift ;)
That's great to hear, AndreaKSweden. Keep us posted on your progress. Adam

Whats the id for 1.15?
Paul platt I don't know what it was called. It was an improvisation usually used during King of Snake. When the Beaucoup Fish boxset was released, one of the unreleased tunes called 'Ramajama' had similar sounds.
What tools does he like to use?
I just know he was used Solid State Logic Automatic System
What’s with the awful filming and editing? Did the intern do this?
Whats that song at the end?
