Of course, these were the dudes showing up to Nirvana gigs, and acting like morons, and ruining the level of fame that Kurt just took on. At the same time, Kurt giving indie acts the stage was his way of flipping a finger to the rock stars who were begging him on the phone to tour together.
You definately got that right! Take a few classes on film editing fcs, before doing it. The learn as you go approach is very annoying, especially when people are trying to dial in on the connection shared between these two very different kinds of bands!

97 actually. They did put out The Birds & the B-Sides in 96, but that is just B-Sides (obviously), cover versions & live recordings.
