New turner here, been spinning for about 6 months at school. Started doing spindles, just getting into bowls and hollow forms. Now that it's summer vacation I'm going to buy my first lathe. Gonna go with the Jet 1221, hopefully it's a lifetime buy. I'm gonna try to get really good doing pens and pepper mills, along with some small bowls and hollow vessels. I seriously appreciate how sharp you get them tools Dave. I watched Cap'n Eddie's video about "wood slicing" and the new knowledge coupled with a few of your CBN wheels should elevate my turning game. One thing is for sure, I definitely have the bug, and I will be out there practicing. Thanks again, love watching those tools razor through that wood.
