Lyrics ++++++++++++ See the children play by Running try to touch the sky When one falls you hear a cry “You’re dead, you’re dead, you must die” “Take a dream and fly away” she will call They will wait for you not I, see me crawl And sometimes I feel so old I never smile nor do cry Shadows flicker from above “Seeker save your soul” she said She will fly, she will fly He will wait far away A golden key to open the door Behind which the answer lies You sinned in dreams Now awake in deeper, deeper dreams “Take a dream and fly away” she will call They won’t wait for you not I, they will wait for you not I See me crawl, she will fly far away. Decline and fall… Never return… Die… Die…
Unfortunately for you, the clip is from me. Bauhaus appears briefly in The Hunger, a movie from which I used some images as mentionned in the presentation text.
I love it too. This opening credits scene is magnificent (even if the majority of the people during the 80s hated this flick). It's too bad i couldnt match the music with the images at the very end due to editing problem. But it works rather well nevertheless.
Because the images fit what I wanted to do. Because few people knew The Hunger before it was re-edited in DVD. Because still few people know those are Bauhaus' images.
C'est un peu normal. C'était avant tout un groupe de performances. Ils ont mis longtemps avant de faire leur premier album en studio, If I Die I Die, et c'est le seul bon album (studio) qu'ils aient enregistré.
@@Kangkhao yes, i mean that. truly incredible. we are going out with a CD+EP with great featurings. I couldn't find a private contact. If you send us your email (polychronplus@gmail.com) we could talk about the possibility of a collaboration and about the arrangements, after you've seen and listened. Thanks for your video!
Un des plus grands groupes de coldwave du début des années 80
ethereal, nothing ever will come close. pure beauty
Dark, Cold & Beautiful...
Lyrics ++++++++++++
See the children play by
Running try to touch the sky
When one falls you hear a cry
“You’re dead, you’re dead, you must die”
“Take a dream and fly away” she will call
They will wait for you not I, see me crawl
And sometimes I feel so old
I never smile nor do cry
Shadows flicker from above
“Seeker save your soul” she said
She will fly, she will fly
He will wait far away
A golden key to open the door
Behind which the answer lies
You sinned in dreams
Now awake in deeper, deeper dreams
“Take a dream and fly away” she will call
They won’t wait for you not I,
they will wait for you not I
See me crawl, she will fly far away.
Decline and fall…
Never return…
Die…
Die…
Toujours aussi bon à écouter.
you did a fantastic job on this video my friend. brilliant songs brilliant video.
awesome use of pairing the visual of "The Hunger" with this song...great match! Loved it!
@djmofoTX : The guitarist is Dik Evans, brother of The Edge. Strongman, aka Trevor Rowan, is the bass player.
great saw them once in Rotterdam
@ronaldvanderkleij
You lucky guy ! In 84, I travelled 800 km to see them in Paris, but the sales went so bad they cancelled the show.
Seen from the HUNGER, Very cool. Sorta steps on BAUHAUS's gig using that clip

Merci pour l'appréciation.

Then I was one of the "few" since I am INTO Punk Goth bands since 1985!
Astonishing, maybe. Should one not expect the superb provocation from VP?

Nayazu Zyanya I think you might be mistaken there pal.
I have all their albums and the album prior to this was "A new form of beauty"
*_VIRGIN PRUNES RULE..._*
Overpowered by colours & contrasts &contents. End part of the trilogy, images surpass music.
ThanX.
End part, you mean The Cure? The video has been prohibited on YT for violence and torture content!

@chelseafc82336
ThanX for them (and me?).
@OlhOrebOque Thank god for Bono choosing the other way, he came out of the same "nest" and had nothing to do with it! So he started U2.
U2 SUCKS!
The Virgin Prunes were unique and way better than U2!
Goth rules!
the clip is from Bauhaus
groupe (encore?)trop peu estime! superbe travail pour la video!
La vidéo est aussi belle que le morceau est bon...
kurva to už je moc!!!!
Disturbing. Most disturbing. I find your penchant for juxtaposing contrasting themes infinitely fascinating. ~JosephKw
Hi, very painful.. Nevertheless an amazing work. K
A ?
A++ ?
I'm not the smartest. What's about the Nazi images actually? Does the song refer to them in one or the other way?
@@spaceorbison : What the fuck are you talking about?
