That's great. I had a dog who would pick out my clothes, pick out options for dinner, and all sorts of things. If I was torn between two or three things, I would ask him to pick. Like, which shirt with these pants? Or, we are having chicken for dinner, should we have rice, or noodles? I would hold them up and which ever he flipped with his nose, was his choice. He was always right. He had impeccable taste. Of course sometimes, he didn't like or care for any choice, and he's just wander away. Miss him. Decisions are so hard sometimes.
The wonderful cat I had 30 years ago chose my future husband for me. He was frightened of men and would hide under the bed if one visited. The first time my future husband visited, my cat jumped in his lap! They adored each other. This signaled to me that this guy was safe, so I dated him a while and learned what a gentle, kind person he was. We married and had many great years together. Miss them both.
Todd is so amazing to watch… I believe he does think things through. I think you should get him a “comb” button… I think he really does know the difference.
Todd certainly needs a "Comb" button, so he can tell you which he prefers in a moment, yes. I notice Todd wants to encourage the other Pridemates to enjoy things with Dad, or at least upstairs, he's so sweet and kind! And Glamour likes a few swipes of the Comb/Brush too, my Kitty would chatter when being brushed, when it was really feeling good. I assumed it was a Cat thing more than a Kitty thing! I love it when Dad posts more of Todds adventures, thanks so much for sharing Todd with us!
Interspecies comms are so facinating, Your Awesome Todd and thank you Jedi Master Dad, Hi Glamour and Paulie didn't forget, Beautiful Kittys. I have so much fun watching your Channel. Take care.
Used to have a combing station next to a chair. Each Cat would come up on the little table beside the chair when they wanted to be combed which they preferred to brushing. Like any Cat they would indicate when they were done and then leave. It was convenient for them and for me. Kind of like grooming stations in the oceans, fish come to be groomed except on land. 🙂
Todd is so cute and smart, the comb pulls out the loose fur, so he does not have to deal with “hair balls” from grooming, it is neat how he shares things with the other cats. thank you for sharing your cats!
FYI when dealing with animals or humans with longer hair start brushing closer to the tips of the hair then working towards the root of the hair. Yes, it does take longer but it gently works out the knots and helps prevents the pulling and matting. It’s a kinder way to have nice hair be it animal or human. Less hissing/crying and no cutting out themats.
Lol, my Theodore also goes roving when brushed. I know he's enjoying it because he screams at me if I stop, but I have to chase him all around the apartment with the brush to get the thing accomplished.
Brushes feel good but Todd is smart enough to know the comb will get the mats. Oy we just had a LOT of hail up here in central OK. Not the baseball size they warned us about, thank goodness. But I won't be surprised if we have some roof damage. I hate seeing the pets so scared. Absolutely continuous thunder and racket.
I wonder if he would like the equi-groomer? some cats love it because it mimics their mother's tongue and it takes out a lot of loose hair. I got mine from Girl with the Dogs, but i have seen it on amazon too.
Todd definitely needs a Comb button! It looks like Glamour also likes the comb. Who knows, maybe it will motivate her to use the buttons in a non deniability way (let me be an optimist please 😅). Did Paulie come and play with the Jingle Ball? 😊
I'm curious how long Todd would let you comb or brush him. Seems like he wants you to continue after you stop, the way he looks at you when you go back to your desk.
Todd looks up so lovingly as he is being combed and puts up with tugs and being rolled over for greater access. Why? Probably because he actually asked for it, rather than the way non-verbal cats can only acquiesce or not.
I just saw that what is forecast to soon become a major hurricane is heading in your direction, with impact projected across all of Florida. So I wanted to wish you all strength whether you're in the cone or not.
Sure Todd knows it's season change time and he must get rid of matted undercoat to grow in his beautiful winter coat; and he knows combs do this even better than brushes! So, yup, new button required.
I had two kitties some years ago: Newt, a female orange tabby; and Lal, a female Turkish Angora. I wanted to groom them, but no matter how gentle I was with a brush or a comb, they didn't seem to like it. 🙁 I would give them treats, but that didn't work either. Lal especially needed grooming because of her longer, silky fur. The poor baby was always getting mats in her hair around her neck and by her tail because she liked to roll around on the ground when she felt playful. I had to cut them out with a pair of small, first aid scissors. It does my soul good to see you, Todd, Glamour, and Paulie! 💜
We have six cats and 3 comb and brush options. They each have their preferred tool. One of them opting for a more "cave-kitty" look. (Touch me with a comb or brush and DIE!😼)
Comb button ❤🤗🥳! What a good boy Todd is, letting Dad do chest-floof and tummy-floof work 👏
He’s so expressive when he looks up and wants his kiss.
Cat spa activated.
We vote you the best Cat Daddy!
Yes your regular followers know that if Glamour *didn't* want the comb Dad would lose a finger. 😂
It's fascinating to me how much empathy Todd has. He's like 'Paulie would like to play jingle ball, can we do that?'
That's one of the things I like about cats. You always know where you stand with them. Unlike humans.
💯💯💯😸😸😸❤❤❤
I love that you let Todd choose between the comb and the brush. I think you are right, I bet he would like a Comb button.
Todd looks like he's putting on the Ritz after he gets combed.
If you're blue and you don't know where to go to why don't you go where Fashion sits?
@@quiestinliterissame❤
Todd looks at you so lovingly, like you truly “get him”. So sweet ❤❤❤

2:47: Todd is so extremely patient as you work out those spots where the mats are starting to grow. I get nipped if I tug too much.
Todd is so amazing to watch… I believe he does think things through. I think you should get him a “comb” button… I think he really does know the difference.
The comb seem to get the deepest tangles out of Todd's fur. Way to go, dad. It's a great plan. A new comb button. ❤ from Canada.
It is a huge display of love and trust how Todd invites you to comb his belly, legs, and tail! CSo heartwarming to watch❤❤❤
Todd is the most patient, special boy ❤ love you glamour!!! Hey to paulie too 🙋♀️
Todd is so patient and calm during his combing! What a good boy! He must enjoy it very much. ^_^
Such a good Dad Todd really loves his combing. ❤

Glamour says, "Hey, this is not a one cat show!" Hello to Todd and Dad

thanks for this, I didn't know about grooming stations in the ocean until now! I love that you had a combing station for your cats :)
Todd, GREAT BOY!!!
I love how loud Glamour is ❤ has she always been this talkative?
And a handsome gentlecat like Todd always prefers a comb 😊
Yes, Glamour has always been a talker.
Such a sweet guy. Paulie jingle ball.
Your cat is SO intelligent! I really want to do this for my cat!!!! Todd looks at you with so much love ❤️
Gotta look good for the adoring fans!
Such a thoughtful kitty…
So sweet of Todd!
This is going to be entertaining the next few weeks as Todd learns the difference.
Todd is so cute and smart, the comb pulls out the loose fur, so he does not have to deal with “hair balls”
from grooming, it is neat how he shares things with the other cats. thank you for sharing your cats!
It'll be interesting to see if Todd starts using brush and comb for if he needs one more than the other, like comb might be better for knots, etc.

I love how vocal Glamour is ❤
He's got the "I don't know what I think about this" ear angle going on. "I know I said brush..."
Oh he's just so beautiful!❤❤And Glamour got a few words in too❤❤
I imagine they do need help with such beautiful fur. And save them from hairballs. I think that is why glamour seemed a little jealous
My Luna also talks loudly and won't stand still when she's being brushed!
My Cats are Vocal and One Says MIT MIT When She wants the Dripping 💦 Water, Her name is Mittens!Cats are Very cool and Very SMART💯♥️
Glamour is such a chatterbox!
😸
The nicest fella there ever was!!!!
Lol, my Theodore also goes roving when brushed. I know he's enjoying it because he screams at me if I stop, but I have to chase him all around the apartment with the brush to get the thing accomplished.
Todd is So Gorgeous!!
Hi Dad and Todd. Hi Glamour. Hi Paulie.
Hello there!
TODD YOU ALWAYS LOOK GOOD😅YOUR BROTHER AND SISTER TOO. NOW YOU READY FOR YEARBOOK PHOTOS
Todd is amazing
I bet he want the brush . lol ok he got comb
👍👍👍
I wonder if he would like the equi-groomer? some cats love it because it mimics their mother's tongue and it takes out a lot of loose hair. I got mine from Girl with the Dogs, but i have seen it on amazon too.
So the comb is the new favorite....?
😊❤🎉

💯 More jingle balls!! More word buttons!! More tubes!! 😻
Todd definitely needs a Comb button! It looks like Glamour also likes the comb. Who knows, maybe it will motivate her to use the buttons in a non deniability way (let me be an optimist please 😅).
Did Paulie come and play with the Jingle Ball? 😊
Unfortunately, Paulie never made it upstairs before I left for work.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks that's too bad! 😔 Hopefully next time 🤞🏼
I'm curious how long Todd would let you comb or brush him. Seems like he wants you to continue after you stop, the way he looks at you when you go back to your desk.
I don't know, he never gets up and leaves. Lol.
I love Glamours vocals 😊❤❤❤❤
Todd looks up so lovingly as he is being combed and puts up with tugs and being rolled over for greater access. Why? Probably because he actually asked for it, rather than the way non-verbal cats can only acquiesce or not.
oh my goodness another tool to make the furr babies more beautiful love it !!!!
Look at how good he is when Dad is brushing and combing him. 🙂
I just saw that what is forecast to soon become a major hurricane is heading in your direction, with impact projected across all of Florida. So I wanted to wish you all strength whether you're in the cone or not.
wow the comb seems to get deeper into his thick coat and must feel good! Yes, he needs a Comb button!
Boy, that Todd sure loves you!
It's amazing how chill Todd is. ❤
I never noticed before - it looks like Todd is wearing elbow-length sleeves. So cute!
I wish Glamour could use the buttons. I really want to know what she thinks about things. Even without buttons she’s got big personality.
Glamor is hysterical. She’s a vocal little girl isn’t she.
Very. She does not need buttons, she will scold you until you do what she wants.
@@TheChroniclesofToddToddTalks lol. My kitty does that too. If he wants something he lets you know.
Todd looks so handsome after a grooming session.

This is why Todd looks so handsome in his tuxedo.
Todd likes to look good! 😊

I think it does hurt Glamour's arthritic back.
If it did, Dad would be bleeding. She expresses her no's very directly. 🙂😊
