It's always a pleasure to learn from this channel. Like I love dr yasir qadhi not only talks about religion but infuses so many extra details which are not even strictly religious. Like I love learning from him. I'm killing two birds with one stone : learning english and learning about my religion along with several things.
In the Romanian language, which is one of the closest to its Latin mother, the verb a zugravi means to paint the wall, and the zugrav is the person who paints it. Thought I'd tell u since u say you love etymology.
In comment section, ppl are saying that's true but when the msg of Qur'an comes to us, we understand then why we are not following ? We say "we hear and we obey" but why not acting upon it? Do u think jannat is too easy to enter?? Ask yourselves! U see many scholars preaching but why the ppl not acting upon? Then something is missing!!. Do u think that if praying 5 times prayer ,, fasting , doing hajj can make u enter jannah? Have u read about the life of khulafaye rashidoon ? Do u think they do dawah all day long or thay act upon it ? Giving dawah is good but Islam is more than that!! We are living the lifestyle of a person, Who only cares about only himself/herself. Remember jannat is expensive.
Yes it does. Every one is dependent on Allah's mercy. What the analogy of good and silver houses meant was that us believers shouldn't think that anyone who's been blessed with wealth in a sense with material wealth has been blessed by Allah even if they're non muslims. As muslims we find ourselves thinking that Allah loves those whom he had given so much material wealth. But the fact of the matter is that Allah is merciful and loving to all, so just because someone 'has it all' and others are suffering doesnt mean allah is less merciful to those who are disadvantaged. He cares about us and he wants us to make it to Jannah because that is the final reward not the riches of this world which often blinds people from thinking about the next world. I hope that makes some sense.
If a girl is forced by her family to dance and they hate it in their hearts and fear of safety is forcing them to act this way, then they will be forgiven and are honourable regardless of what the world thinks of them. They should find means out of this situation, allot of prayers, try visiting places of worship and learning, do plenty of astaguffars like all of us need to do i.e repentance and dua pray to get out of this situation. Allah swt is Most merciful and Most Kind, and listens to the prayers of the oppressed. It does not matter if the world thinks they are honourable, what matters what Allah swt thinks....
