What fascinates me is this ancient sport and the parallel over on this side of the pond, which is lacrosse. Both ancient sports. For the same purpose.

God i don’t understand this game at all . I love hockey but watching this and seeying the ball in the stick while they’re running how’s that fair? Or is there a time limit?like when I see them with the ball in their hands and then they throw it up in the air and catch it in the stick and keep running ? Looks more like rugby if I’m honest 😂 bit more violent that your standard looking game of hockey anyways .just don’t get the rules?

The rules is that you can only pick up the ball by using the stick which is called a hurley you can only run with the ball in your hand for only 4 steps and then you have to bounce the ball off the hurley and back into your hand or you can balance the ball on the hurley as your running and you can only do this 3 times or else the other team gets a free
