The importance of towers: My lushen is nearly identical (40 less attack 4 less cd) and is doing 3k less a card because my towers haven’t been upgraded much
I started playing summoners war when I was in high school. I think it was around the time summoners war first came out. But then I stopped playing for years. Now I’m just recently getting back into it.
The explanations on which line-up to bring, for what defense are highly appreciated! :) Did some of this unknowingly already, but it will definetely help paying more attention to it in the future. You did probally figure it already, but my lushen is now crying in crit Rate, Crit Damage and Attack ^^
to get g1, u dont need anywhere near as good runes. and also yes, thats basically how the game works. g1+ ppl have been playing for a long time so of course rune requirements increase every single year the game lasts

unless anti-ignore def mechanics, powercreep (like light chung li) come out, lushen will ALWAYS be ao king so no clue why u surprised. aoe ignore def that doesnt rely on accuracy checks is king in a game of rng
I love using Feng Yan on def! My Def has a 37% win rate in high c2 low c3, which isnt to bad. Granted, I do have a double nemesis will ningong, a double Nemesis shield juno and a 327 speed vigor on swift will. Every unit but the Feng has ~+45K Hp, Feng has +20k. Very fun bait Def.
@@oliversaunders2967 Depends on if they reset my Vigor and nigong. If they don't reset both I win, if they do I lose. Sometimes I also run Laika (Vamp Nem) over Feng too. My Nigong has 100% resistance, my Vigor has 53% Juno has 31% and Feng has 70%. My Laika has 30% resistance but that doesn't matter because laika doesn't need it. It all relies on rng of a reset, if Zaiross doesn't my Nigong cuts in and puts soul protection, my juno cuts in and can aoe strip. I'm trying to get my juno on despair nem so that'll be a potential counter too when I get good enough despair runes.
thats almost like saying "yeah my slime is a great defense! i mean sure my 360 kabilla and blah blah help but slime is really the star" like fam, your runes are just higher than your rank.
I'd be interested in seeing what you deem as a good arena defense. I know you have done a video on it five years ago, but maybe that information is outdated
Ngl ide really like to see a bunch of different types of non lushen cleaves, psa tianna galleon (x) just to see where each is used , like when youd take alicia over zaiross or heck even teshar in some cleaves , just would be really interesting to see what other teams bagel uses, especially vs stall teams like halphas and mihos and such
lushen is king. bernard megan/bastet take of halphas. miho can be countered by craka+lushen variant or just run low crit rate on boosters so they can kill.
Mine fat lushen hit for 16k and still need to refresh 2 times to be able to attack someone... Alicia tiana zaiross and galeon is way better ao than lushen... But I miss 2 nat5s from that comp 😂
if thats true, then u either suck at aos/ads or you have shit speed runes as a 16k fat lushen can easily get u g3 even if have the spd to go along with it.
@@REIwAlexY nope if for example there is a psa and woosa def, even if woosa makes a shield, as long as chloe cuts, all the troops are protected, you don't need to out speed here, you cleave after. Chloe is just there to protect everyone

psam helps you drastically increase the number of teams u can hit bc takes care of fire threats and guarantees u win speed game if using kabilla so lowers rune requirements but of course you dont NEED them esp if you only like c1/2 or even g1
You should do this as a series where you have a different specific monster you use for arena offense each time. This would be so cool and great vid by the way.
I'd love to see more educational videos for arena from bagel! I know he did a ton already but more is always nice lol. Lice (for example) i dont have tiana but have a ton of other options, so for people like me, a video with non-lushen non-tiana teams.
Personally i like to run the 3 variants: fat lushen, x2 lushen and julie lushen. It’s good to have everything to clear as many players from your arena list
hey bagel, wanted to say that double skogul AO is pretty good nowadays too. i accidentally got g3 with it (it was a weird week where only like 20ppl rushed idk...) but anyway i can still get into g2 easily by just ela (L), double skogul, Louise (louise is fast vio tho). 50% of the ADs ppl run can be double skogul'd. Juno and Clara can be annoying sometimes but most of the time rng is on your side. it will take you 2-3mins to clear... but you will definitely clear it, so no wasted wings.
A fun atq comp that I've been using is vanessa (would use psamath but I don't have one), jeogun, Luer and rage Poseidon. The animation might be slow but if you kill everything in one go, its faster than when something survives and they don't get any turns even if they revive because of the atq bar decrease
I accept this blow to my ego and will humbly watch the rest of this video. I'll work on my negative attitude and instead be optimistic about people's ideas in the comment section.

Would you still use Kabila if you use Dova? Or use both?
Dova replaces the garudas but you lose the heal (Pretty sure it’s use both, but make sure kabilla has more hp than lushen)
