- Commemorative coins of 2 euros are issued member states of the eurozone since 2004 and are lawful means of payment in all states entering the eurozone. They meet technical specifications of usual coins of 2 euros for the address, but their national side has other design devoted to the memorable event or the outstanding personality concerning the state issuer.
The general party of commemorative coins is identical to usual coins of 2 euros.
